Field Notes Chunkie

Today I have a post showcasing my A4 Numbered Botanical #110 Stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
My substrate this time around is an MDF Chunkie from That's Crafty, these are fantastic to work with and work so well with the stamps.
I have added stamping to all sides of my substrate and stamped with Distress Oxides Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers, I love this combination.
I love adding texture to my pieces and once again Autour de Mwa's stencil was perfect, adding much needed texture and dimension to my piece.
I added dimension to my fern and also incorporated a few Art Pebbles for further interest.
I also incorporated some stencilling around the edges, again applying Distress Paints in the same colours as the Oxide Inks and then placing the stencil onto the wet paint and wiping over the stencil with a wet baby wipe to remove the paint from the open areas. A wooden jigsaw piece adds further dimension to my design.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x.

These are the products I used this time around.

Numbered Botanical

Today I have a post showcasing my A4 Numbered Botanical #110 Stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I incorporated my A4 stamp set this time around with Olga's A4 Stamp Set #111 English Postcard and I am delighted with the finish on this piece, incorporating lots of layers for a real tactile piece.
I began by blending two colours of Paint one Impasto Dark Chocolate and the other Buff Acrylic from Dina Wakley and I blended the two colours together to give a seamless blend, using a touch of water and a paintbrush.
I then added a touch of background stamping using Olga's A4 stamp and stamping the image with Buff Acrylic Paint. I applied the paint to the stamp with a Brayer so that I did not lose all the wonderful detail in the stamp.
I then began layering my pieces to give a cohesive design. I also added some background stamping from Olga's stamp to the tag I added and then incorporated my fern which I fussy cut out from white card. I also added some texture to the background, again using Autour de Mwa's stencil Lotza Dotz.
Some vintage papers have been added to the background and a few wooden pieces for added texture and dimension. The wooden pieces were a kind gift from my friend Olga and they are designed by SnipArt.
Thanks so much for popping by and leaving a comment. Tracy x x

These are the products I have incorporated into my Etcetera Tag.

Botanical Canvas

Today I have a post showcasing my A4 Numbered Botanical #110 Stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I opted for a canvas this time around, just taking time to enjoy the creative process with no plan in mind.
I painted my canvas with Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints, Turquoise, Fuchsia, and Cheddar. I applied the paint randomly with a Brayer and with my fingers until I was happy with the layered colours.
I stamped my fern onto tissue and then added to my canvas. I also incorporated some stencilling using Autour de Mwa's Lotza Dotz stencil, applying paint with my finger and then whilst the paint is still wet, place the stencil on top and then use a baby wipe to remove some of the paint from the open areas. I then dried the canvas with a heat tool.
I added an Artist Trading Coin as a spotlight for my design, again adding paint to the coin with my finger and adding a touch of stencilling to coordinate with my background.
I added some metal embellishments for further interest and dimension.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x .

These are the products used in my canvas and all available from the AALLandCreate Boutique (link at the top of this post).

Hope is Never Lost

Today I have a post showcasing my A4 Blossomed Numbers #109 Stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I wanted to create something a little different this time around using my stamp and I am delighted with the outcome.
I stamped my flowers onto white card adhering several layers of the image together and I then added the dimensional blossoms to the Etcetera Tag, adding parts of the image only to the background.
I also applied texture paste over Autour de Mwa's stencil Lotza Dots #39, applying the paste randomly around my background.
I then painted over all my layers with Black Soot Distress Paint and then dry brushed metallic highlights over my whole piece. I spent quite a while dry brushing to add light layers, giving further dimension to my background.
I also incorporated one of Tim Holtz Fractured Dolls, standing inside one of Tim Holtz Mini Hardware Pulls. I also added some Bouquet flowers flowing down the side of the focal piece.
I love how my flowers look when dry brushed and the dimension and texture is fabulous.
To complete I added some crumpled soft silver wire, black twine and a Quote Chip.

Here are the products used in my creation today.

Botanical Card

Today I have a post showcasing my A4 Numbered Botanical Stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I coloured my background with Twisted Citron  Distress Ink and then stamped my fern imagery onto the top of the inked background. I then used a waterbrush to bleach out some of the areas on the fern.
I added a spotlight to one area of the fern, die cutting a circle from white card and then stamping part of the fern once again and then added a circle of twine around the die cut piece.
I added some delicate splatters of white paint along with a vintage watch face and skeleton leaf for added detail and textures.
Art Stones and a piece of old jewellery add further dimension and interest to my design.

Create Your Dreams

I had fun with this project, combining my A4 Eclectic Silhouette #113 with Eileen Hull's Sizzix Passport Book. All the new products are available from our stockists HERE, simply scroll down.
I opted to stamp part of my design onto parchment paper, I love the feel and look of parchment and was delighted with the detail on my stamp once stamped onto the parchment. I then added the parchment piece to the cover of my Passport Book, which I machine stitched into place.
I added the bird detail in my stamp to the back of my Passport Book and I have to say I am absolutely delighted with the way this turned out.
I love the touches of detail in my silhouette and I stamped the silhouette onto a brayered background of Turquoise and Lime Acrylic Paint, stapling the silhouette onto my backdrop. I also included a large Art Stone to highlight one of the numbers.
I added metal wire to the top of my silhouette, adding touches of paint to the wire with my finger. I also opted to showcase one of the sentiments in the same colours.
I used the same techniques on the back of my book, I adore this sentiment. I also included delictae splatters of paint to echo the pops of colour in  my design.
The detail in this stamp is amazing and I am so thrilled how it turned out. A metal Index Clip adds further dimension and texture to the back of my book.
I added one of my sentiments to the spine of my book.
There are so many ways you can use this stamp, the possibilities are endless and I can't wait to explore more designs with this one.

Dramatic Bloom

Today I am showcasing my Blossomed Numbers A4 Stamp #109 from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our stockists HERE, simply scroll down.
I wanted a bold backdrop for my huge flower and opted for Black and Red, I adore using red in my creative pieces and today I brayered Ruby and Night over white card utnil I was happy with the depth of colour I had achieved.  I then machine stitched a piece of acetate to my background to give a different look to my piece.
I added four layers to my flower head to give dimension and texture, bending some of the petals a little to give movement to my design.  I also incorporated a rusty heart and some rusty tin wire to the centre of my flower for further texture and interest.
I also added a few splatters of red paint to add to the dramatic bold feel of this piece.
I added my sentiment to a strip of acetate which I stapled into place on my card and I also included some remnant rubs for further interest.
I loved creating this card and I can see I am going to be using this flower a great deal.
This is my A4 Stamp in all its glory, available now from our stockists.
