Make A Difference

Today I have a framed mixed media piece using my newly released A5 Stamp "Eclectic Stems" #199, combined with my A4 Stamp "Blossomed Numbers" #109 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I created this piece on a workshop I was teaching, this was my demo piece and I was thrilled with the outcome.
A few close up shots of the background etc. I love the clay piece, the detail from the stamps is fantastic.
I incorporated some hand stitching for added texture to my design.
The clay piece really adds a different dimension to the design along with some added chicken wire for further texture.
A few delicate splatters of white paint lift the design.

Make Today Amazing

Welcome, today I have a card using my A4 Stamp Blossomed Numbers #109 from AALLandCreate.
I began by adding layers of Fresco Finish Paint to white card, applying the paint with my finger and blending as I move around the card.
To add further depth to my design I also added a few layers of Infusions, allowing the ink to sit on my background until it dries naturally to give more depth of colour. I also incorporated some background stamping using my Border Stamp #34, stamping with white acrylic paint to add a further pop to my background.
I stamped the large flower onto a brayered backdrop and then cut out my flower and added half to one side and the other half to the opposite side. I scribbled some watercolour pencil around the outside edges of my petals and blended with water. I also incorporated some splatters of white paint.

Blossomed Numbers

Today I have a post showcasing my A4 Blossomed Numbers #109 Stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
When I am using my designs in projects I like to try and experiment with as many mediums as possible so that you can see the versatility of the stamps. A couple of days ago I was tidying my studio and stumbled across my Inktense Pencils and decided to have a few hours just colouring and relaxing, enjoying the process.

The flower has been coloured with three colours of Inktense Pencils and I have to say I have fallenn in love with these pencils all over again.
I adore the vibrancy of the flower and the Pencils blend beautifully, I will definitely be using these again.
I set the flower onto a painted background, brayering Turquoise Paint over white card and then adding layers of White Acrylic Paint to lighten. I then stamped my Blossomed Numbers stamp onto the background with Black Archival Ink and overlayed my coloured flower on top for added dimension.
Of course I had to add a touch of texture with some delicate textural stencilling using Autour de Mwa's Lotza Dotz Stencil. I also included some cheesecloth, vintage book pages and sentiment along with some fabric.
This card really lifts the spirits and I hope it has done that for you today too.

These are the products used in my creation today.

Garden Bloom

Today I have a post showcasing my A4 Blossomed Numbers #109 Stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
  1.  Brayer a layer of Ruby Acrylic Paint across a piece of white card.
  2. Add touches of Turquoise Acrylic Paint, applying with your finger.
  3. Whilst the paint is still wet, place the Lotza Dotz Stencil onto the painted background and then wipe over the stencil with a damp baby wipe, this removes some of the paint from the open areas.
  4. Dry these paint layers with a heat tool.
  1. Create another painted background piece with the same paints, applying the paint to a piece of white card with a Brayer.
  2. Apply White Acrylic Paint to the Blossomed Numbers stamp, applying the paint with a piece of Cut 'n' Dry Foam or as I prefer apply with a Brayer. Adding a good even coverage of paint to the stamp.
  3. Stamp the image onto the painted backround and then cut out the flower, cut the flower head and adhere to the decorative panel.
  1. Once you have adhered the flowers securely to the background then apply further texture, applying texture paste over the Lotza Dotz Stencil and then allow the paste to dry completely.
  2. Draw around each of the petals with a Stabilo All pencil and then blend with a water brush. This adds definition to each of the petals.
I adore how all the layers are visible and the texture is fabulous.

Here are the products I used for this project.

Hope is Never Lost

Today I have a post showcasing my A4 Blossomed Numbers #109 Stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I wanted to create something a little different this time around using my stamp and I am delighted with the outcome.
I stamped my flowers onto white card adhering several layers of the image together and I then added the dimensional blossoms to the Etcetera Tag, adding parts of the image only to the background.
I also applied texture paste over Autour de Mwa's stencil Lotza Dots #39, applying the paste randomly around my background.
I then painted over all my layers with Black Soot Distress Paint and then dry brushed metallic highlights over my whole piece. I spent quite a while dry brushing to add light layers, giving further dimension to my background.
I also incorporated one of Tim Holtz Fractured Dolls, standing inside one of Tim Holtz Mini Hardware Pulls. I also added some Bouquet flowers flowing down the side of the focal piece.
I love how my flowers look when dry brushed and the dimension and texture is fabulous.
To complete I added some crumpled soft silver wire, black twine and a Quote Chip.

Here are the products used in my creation today.

Dramatic Bloom

Today I am showcasing my Blossomed Numbers A4 Stamp #109 from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our stockists HERE, simply scroll down.
I wanted a bold backdrop for my huge flower and opted for Black and Red, I adore using red in my creative pieces and today I brayered Ruby and Night over white card utnil I was happy with the depth of colour I had achieved.  I then machine stitched a piece of acetate to my background to give a different look to my piece.
I added four layers to my flower head to give dimension and texture, bending some of the petals a little to give movement to my design.  I also incorporated a rusty heart and some rusty tin wire to the centre of my flower for further texture and interest.
I also added a few splatters of red paint to add to the dramatic bold feel of this piece.
I added my sentiment to a strip of acetate which I stapled into place on my card and I also included some remnant rubs for further interest.
I loved creating this card and I can see I am going to be using this flower a great deal.
This is my A4 Stamp in all its glory, available now from our stockists.

Blossom Card

I am showcasing my A4 Blossomed Numbers #109 from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our stockists HERE.
I created a card this time around using one of my favourite colour palettes using Turquoise and Lime Acrylic Paints from Dina Wakley.
I began by stamping part of the image onto a piece of parchment paper and then cuttimg around the flower image and adding the stamped parchment to a piece of black card.
I then brayered a piece of white card with Turquoise and Lime Acrylic Paint and then stamped one of my flowers onto the background twice and then cut out each flower head and adhered to the Parchment stamping.
I added a clay face to the centre of my flower, afterall this is a flower head!!!
I highlighted a couple of other areas with the coloured pieces.
I added a couple of Art Stones along with some delicate splatters of paint.
I also added a circle of wire, stapled into place for added texture.
