Bold and Beautiful

Today I am showcasing my newly released A6 Stamp, Sketched Happiness #177 combined with my older A6 stamp Doodled Blooms #140 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I began by creating a background with Acrylic Paints, Cheddar, Ruby and Egg Plant, adding layers of colour to give depth to my design. I then placed Autour de Mwa's stencil over the top and wiped over the stencil with a baby wipe to remove some of the colour from the open areas on the stencil.
The majority of this card was created from leftovers remaining on my desk. I had a strip of card which I had added some acrylic paint to with my fingers and rather than bin it I used it in this piece as the colours fitted perfectly. I also incorporated some gold leaf flakes to give a touch of opulence and warmth to my piece.
I used the small hearts from my new stamp set and coloured each one with Acrylic Paints and then cut them out to add dimension to my piece. I also added a few delicate splatters of gold paint.
The strips of card were again leftovers and I also added some random hand stitching for further interest.
I added the flower from my Doodled Blooms stamp set which I stapled into place and also added a few more scraps of card.

Live Life in Full Bloom

Today I am showcasing my newly released A4 Stamp, Pencilled Flower #160 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I wanted a fresh colour palette this time around and opted for Turquoise and Lime Acrylic Paints. I adore this stamp, there is so much detail, from words, text, numbers and so many sentiments. The possibilities are endless. You can use part of the stamp of the whole imagery.

For this card I opted to showcase the flower and I am delighted with how it turned out.
In this picture you can really see the stencilled detail and the touches of gold I added to that detail. I also added some dimension to my flower.
I think the sentiment 'spread happiness' is perfect for this card especially with the fresh uplifting palette.
I also showcased the 'live live in full bloom' text as that seemed appropriate with showcasing the flower as the focal image on this card.
I also added some pieces of small tags to the edges of my card and added dimension to those pieces using a Stabilo All Pencil.

Ladybird Frame

Today I am showcasing my newly released A4 Stamp, Ladybug #161 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I love creating dimensional, layered pieces and this is one of those that developed the more I experimented.

I began with a background painted with Prima Impasto Paints Linen and Dark Chocolate, blending the colours with a little water. The linen also gives a little lightness to the darker tone.
I added a clay piece to the centre and I am absolutely delighted with the detail retained in the clay. I also added some chicken mesh over the top to act like a protective layer, afterall we need to protect our Ladybirds!
I added some delicate stamping to the background using Gold Acrylic Paint to echo the gold highlights on the frame and also the gold touches added to the edges of the piece. I included a vintage floor nail wrapped with twine for added interest.
This picture shows those gold details a little better and I also added some natural hessian behind my clay piece, again for added texture.
A touch more stamping added to card and then added to my frame. The chicken wire was also aged a little with some Alcohol Ink.

Flourish

Today I am showcasing my newly released border stamp Flourish #164 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I like experimenting with colours and this time around I used Dina Wakley's Acrylic Paints in Eggplant and Cheddar and when they are brayered and blend together give a beautiful deep rich colour.
The touch of stencilling in the background draws the eye into the focal imager and I love that touchof lightness to the design.
A few touches of sequin waste add delicate touches of texture but not too much to overpower the design. I also added some delicate splatters of white paint.
A story stick adds a touch of dimension along with the dimension given to the flower and the added rusty circular piece of wire.

Pencilled Cube

Today I am showcasing my Border Stamp Numbered Pencils #165 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I wanted to create something a little different this time around to showcase the wonderful imagery. I opted to use Eileen Hull's die to create a decorated cube or an ATB, Artist Trading Block as they were known by. This imagery really appeals to my love of vintage and the possibilites are endless and so easily combined with many of the other stamps in the AALLandCreate library.  I opted for more vintage tones this time around, creating a background with Distress Oxide Inks.
A touch of colour has been added to the background with the use of Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink. I have also incorporated lots of layers to this piece from vintage book pages to natural twine and broken pencil.
Die cut circles have also been used to act as spotlights.
I added my cube to a wooden stand and also included a story stick, the word 'story' seemed very appropriate for the imagery.
The words on this stamp set can also be used on their own, combined with many other stamp sets. I added a pencil to the top of my cube for added dimension and interest.
I really enjoyed creating this piece and hope you fall in love with the detail as much as I have. Tracy x x

Illustrate Your Life

Back to those vintage tones today, showcasing my newly released Border Stamp, Numbered Pencils #165 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
Distress Paints helped to create my vintage backdrop this time in the form of Vintage Photo, Antique Linen along with touches of Tumbled Glass. I love all the texture on this piece and it works so well with the pencil imagery.
This piece is all about the little touches and lots of layers. I stamped the imagery firstly directly onto the canvas and then began to add layers to the foreground.
I stamped the image onto vintage book pages and then tore out part of the image and added that to my background. I also incorporated some tea bag skins too.
On this picture you can see where I have added the tea bag skin which adds a wonderful vintage touch to the background. I have also incorporated a couple of paper clips.
I die cut a circle from white card and added some stamping which acts as a spotlight in my design. The story stick adds further dimension and the touches of natural twine add wonderful texture.
I applied further touches of Tumbled Glass Distress paint with my finger.

Elegant Peacock

Today I am showcasing my Border Stamp Elegant Peacock #163 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I added a delicate background to this card as I did not want it to overpower my focal imagery. I added some acrylic paint to Autour de Mwa's stencil, spritzed with water and then laid the stencil down, paint side down onto my card, dabbed with a piece of kitchen towel and then removed the stencil and dried the paint layer with a Heat Tool. I also added a touch more detail with the same stencil to the foreground.
I added touches of god to my peacock to give it a touch of shimmer along with some coiled wire for added texture. This picture also showcases the added detail from the stencil.
I repeated the Elegant text across my card and also added some random pieces of sequin waste for a further touch of interest.
The peacock feathers could also be used on their own in a card, which I will try another time.
I also added some touches of gold around the background of the card and to the edges of the card.
