Fragile Fragments

Morning everyone, today I am showcasing my Border Stamp "Fragile Fragments" #538 combined with my A6 Stamp Quirky Friends #466.

I love the heart stamp, so many possibilites. Today I have created a little video for you to showcase the step by steps. Video is below:

I hope you enjoy the video and feel inspired to create.

Below are some close up shots of the card and one of the main reasons I have finalised a blog post so that you can zoom in on all the detail which is often missed in a video.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. Tracy x x

Indulge In Daisies

Afternoon everyone, hope you are all well.

Today I have a card using my latest release.

Begin by adding low tack tape around the edges of the card, to leave an aperture in the centre in which we blend Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon in the backgroun of your card. Stamp the A7 Daisy stsamp "Indulge in Daisies" #541 with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink. Blot the image with copier paper and then add touches of further colour to the petals with gel pens.

From this close up you can see the brightness the gel pens bring to the design.

I have also included a papercast of the leaf, to bring further texture to my piece.

Atouch of machine stitching adds further interest and texture to the design.

The pop of black and white also add brightness to the piece and the black washi tape echoes the black stamping in the background along with the black stitching.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the close ups in this design, I loved creating this piece.

Tag Book

Morning everyone, hope you are all well.

Today I am showcasing a Tag Book, which is a workshop I will be teaching on 14th-16th May 2021, start time 10am. If you are unable to join live, you can watch at your convenience. The workshop is £20 and if you would like to join, please feel free to email me - tracy@craft-addicts.co.uk.

I adore the colours on this book and all the layers and textures. I created all the backgrounds with paint.

Each of these pictures shows the detail on each page. The colours are so uplifting.

I will definitely be working with these colours again, they work so well.

These are all the stamps showcased in my accordion, all from my new March release.

Happy Dog

Morning everyone, hope you are all well.

Toaday I have a card using my newly released A7 Stamp, Happy Dog.

I love the colours on this piece. I stamped the background using my Snippet Alphabet #456 and Distress Oxide Inks. I used the stamp as a whole, stamping without the use of an acrylic block, to give me more of a mixed media feel and look.

I also incorporated some cheesecloth and cotton threads to give further texture to my pieces.

The heart has been stamped with my Heart Grunge Stamp, a new favourite #453. I love how there are so many elements on the stamp that can be used individually.

I added a touch of shading with an Inktense pencil and coloured my litle dog with Polychromo Pencils.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Mixed Media Bug

Afternoon, hope you are all well and keeping safe.

Today I have a mixed media piece for you, one I thoroughly enjoyed creating.

I love the detail on this piece and the background was fun to make.

I also love the hot glue gun detail on the wings.

I also used the hot glue gun on my numbers, painted them black and then added some wax on the top. On the bottom picture you can also see that I also used a piece of my mop up kitchen towel.

This was such a fun piece to create.

Winged Bugs

Afternoon everyone, hope you are all well and keeping safe.

Today I have a mixed media piece showcasing my A4 Stamp Winged Bugs #388.

I love the blue/turquoise on this piece and the texture. There is something about adding layers to a design, they really do bring a piece to life.

I love adding the close up photos as I think you can really see all the detail, they draw the eye into the piece. Sometimes you can't appreciate the work involved without seeing some of the close up photos.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. Hugs. Tracy x
