AALLandCreate Exclusive Designs

I still can't quite believe where my creative journey has taken me,  I never imagined designing my own set of stamps, and seeing them come to life is such a thrill.

I would also like to thank everyone for your continued support. THANK YOU.

You can see Ab (Autour de Mwa) Facebook live HERE showcasing the fabulous new release. Ab has given me so much encouragement and made this all possible so I thank him dearly.

AALLandCreate is a team of designers who all create together and are here to encourage like minded individuals to join along. We offer on-line workshops/classes for Cards/Layouts, Mini Albums and Mixed Media and Art Journal projects.

I am continuing with more inspiration for you today and I will continue over the coming weeks.
I began by creating a circle using my circular Gelli Plate and Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylics Turquoise and Lime.
I used Tim Holtz Stripes Layering Stencil to create a monoprint using Distress Inks to add a further layer of interest. I then stamped my fabulous bird image onto a scrap of card brayered with paint and then added him to the circular spotlight.
I added a circle of paint using an old lid and added a circle of wire to echo the circular theme stapling into place. The wire gives added texture and dimension to my design. The Fearless sentiment is one of my favourites from my set, I love how it looks stamped with two colours of paint.
I also included some Design Tape along with one of my fabulous sentiment 'Be Yourself'.
I also added the same bird image to the inside of my card.
My stamp set is available from AALLandCreate Boutique, which you can find HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x

Live Your Life

I had a lovely delivery yesterday from the lovely Kay Halliwell-Sutton (IndigoBlu) and I was inspired to create.
I began by using some of the tissue that my goodies were wrapped in adhering the glue with Slappe it On Matte.   I also applied a coat over the top of the tissue to protect.
These are the goodies that the lovely Kay sent to me. So kind of Kay to remember me even when she was on her travels, Thank you Kay.
I applied IndigoBlu's GeeSso Good Black Gesso over the feather stencil and allowe to dry completely. Once dry I added some delicate splatters of Postbox Red paint.
I added a Paper Doll onto the feather, I love how he sits there pefectly. I also stamped one of the numbers from the stamp set I was sent, they are fantastic.
I also added a chitchat sentiment sticker to complete.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a lovely weekend. Tracy x x

AALLandCreate Exclusive Designs

This week I have seen my own designs come to life in a set of stamps, I am hugely thrilled.

AALLandCreate is a team of designers who all create together and are here to encourage like minded individuals to join along. We offer on-line workshops/classes for Cards/Layouts, Mini Albums and Mixed Media and Art Journal projects.

I have already created a few samples using my stamps and I have my third sample to highlight today, hopefully giving you some inspiration.
I have used Wendy Vecchi's Enamel Accents to create my background combined with a Tim Holtz Layering Stencil.
I am really enjoying bringing my samples to life using my new stamps which are available HERE.
Loving the colours on this piece and the texture (which you cannot capture on a picture) is fantastic, almost a glossy raised feel to the background.
I love my quirky bird image and I have added a circle of Enamel Accents around my bird to act as a spotlight.
I stamped my sentiment with Black Archival Ink and added a few delicate splatters of white paint.
I would like to thank you all for your kind support since I released my new stamps. THANK YOU.

I created a circular background using my circular Gelli Plate and Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylics.
I used my stamps for the focal image.
I also used Autour de Mwa background stamps to add further interest.
I also included one of my birds to the inside of my card, stamped with Distress Oxides.
I added a circle or silver wire stapled into place to act as a spotlight to my focal image.
I also included some Design Tape from Tim Holtz and delicate splatters of white paint.

AALLandCreate Exclusive Designs

As I write this post I can't actually quite believe where my creative journey has taken me. I never imagined designing my own set of stamps, and this week has seen my own designs come to life.

A huge thank you to AALLandCreate without whom this would not have been possible and a huge heartfelt Thank You to Ab (Autour de Mwa) whose Facebook live you can see HERE showcasing the fabulous new release. Ab has given me so much encouragement and made this all possible so I thank you dearly.

AALLandCreate is a team of designers who all create together and are here to encourage like minded individuals to join along. We offer on-line workshops/classes for Cards/Layouts, Mini Albums and Mixed Media and Art Journal projects.

I have already created a few samples using my stamps and I have one to highlight today, hopefully giving you some weekend inspiration.
I created a canvas using Autour de Mwa set of stamps combined with my set of stamps which you can see below.
I stamped my bird images with Distress Oxide Ink Broken China and then off set with a second stamping using Black Archival Ink.
I used Autour de Mwa stamps in the background of my canvas, stamping with Dina's Heavy Body Acrylic. The stamps work fabulously with paint and ink.
I created a masterboard using my Gelli Plate to create some simple backgrounds using Dina Wakley's Heavy Body Acrylics and then cut two pieces 3.5" x 2.5" and added the stamping. I also included some scratchy black paint lines using an old credit card. The stripes in the background are created using Tim Holtz Stripes Layering Stencil and Distress Ink, creating a monoprint.
I adore the sentiments on my set of stamps and I am so pleased with how they turned out, these are something I will use over and over again. I also stapled a circle of wire to my design, something I love doing to act as a spotlight to my focal image.
I also added some tape for added interest and texture along with some metal embellishments from Tim's Idea-ology range.

I also have a video I created below highlighting my fellow team members designs Fiona Paltridge and Bipasha BK.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful Easter break and I will be back with more inspiration for you shortly.

The Magic of Three - A Vintage Journey Challenge

A new month and a new challenge from A Vintage Journey. Our host this month is the lovely Annie and here is what she had to say about the challenge.

"It is said that using three of something adds more interest and power whether it is a conversation, art or numbers. Let us see you use three of something in your challenge project (numbers, techniques, stamps, colours, words, products - the list is endless!) Let us know your magic 3 components and ensure your project is in our vintage; shabby; mixed media; art journaling; industrial, timeworn or steampunk styles that we favour".

I opted for a journal page, something I do not do much of but I thoroughly enjoyed the process which I have detailed below.
I added Texture Paste over Tim Holtz Nordic Stencil across the central area of the pages.
I added Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink to a piece of acetate and then spritzed with water.
I pressed the acetate, inked side down onto the pages and smooshed the ink across the background.
I spritzed the ink with water and allowed it to run and puddle on the page.
I then dried my ink with a heat tool.
I repeated the same process with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink onto acetate.
Smooshed the ink across the page with my fingers.
Spritzed the ink further and then dried with a heat tool.
I used Tim Holtz Heartfelt Sizzix Die but used the apertures, coloured with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink, blending the ink with an ink blending tool and then spritzed the ink with water. Dry the ink with a heat tool.
Three die cut hearts were coloured with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink. I tore one heart and stapled together with Tim's Tiny Attacher.
I love adding items in threes, I love the composition it gives. I began by adding three strips of Tim Holtz Chatter Design Tape and also included a piece of kitchen towel that was used for my mop ups.
I added three strips of card, coloured with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink and I also included a Tim Holtz Transparent Tile. March 23 has also been added as this was the date my mum passed away only a week ago, as I write this post.
I also added a painty circle around my focal pieces to act as a spotlight to the design.
I added more strips of tape, in blocks of three and added my hearts to the page.
I added a sentiment 'a corner of your heart' from Tim's Idea-ology which seemed perfect for this page.
I love leaving some white space, so I did not cover every area of the pages. I also added painted circles to my pages, again in clusters of three.
Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you enjoyed the step by steps.

Our sponsor this month is Emerald Creek Craft Supplies, who are offering a gift certificate to one randomly drawn winner.
