Hope is Never Lost

Today I have a post showcasing my A4 Blossomed Numbers #109 Stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I wanted to create something a little different this time around using my stamp and I am delighted with the outcome.
I stamped my flowers onto white card adhering several layers of the image together and I then added the dimensional blossoms to the Etcetera Tag, adding parts of the image only to the background.
I also applied texture paste over Autour de Mwa's stencil Lotza Dots #39, applying the paste randomly around my background.
I then painted over all my layers with Black Soot Distress Paint and then dry brushed metallic highlights over my whole piece. I spent quite a while dry brushing to add light layers, giving further dimension to my background.
I also incorporated one of Tim Holtz Fractured Dolls, standing inside one of Tim Holtz Mini Hardware Pulls. I also added some Bouquet flowers flowing down the side of the focal piece.
I love how my flowers look when dry brushed and the dimension and texture is fabulous.
To complete I added some crumpled soft silver wire, black twine and a Quote Chip.

Here are the products used in my creation today.

Happy Halloween

I created this project just for fun and to say Happy Halloween.
This was fun to create and I adore this skull, it is one of my favourite moulds.
Lots of dry brushing to bring depth to my design.
Red flowers which I coloured with Distress Inks. These flowers are from Tim Holtz Idea-ology line.
My substrate is a Tim Holtz Etcetera Tag.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy Halloween.

Artsy Butterfly Card

Welcome, today I have a card using one of my favourite colour palettes, combining paints with my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp and my butterfly stamp set along with Olga's Patches Stamp Set all available from AALLandCreate stockists which you can find HERE.
I love using these two colours together, turquoise and lime (Dina Wakley paints). I applied the paints to a Gelli Plate and then placed Autour de Mwa's stencil #30 onto the Plate, ensured good contact and then removed the stencil and placed a piece of white card and copier paper onto the Plate and took the print. I used both the copier paper piece and the white card prints for my background and they lined up beautifully and I was able to add dimension this way by adding black ink around the edges of the white card and lifting it a little from the copier paper print.
I added a wooden heart again which I stencilled some detail onto the background using the same stencil. I coloured the heart with the same paints and then applied Black Archival Ink over the stencil. My butterfly takes centre stage on the heart.
I added some random background stamping using my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp along with Olga's Patches Stamp Set.
I incorported one of Tim Holtz metal embellishments to the centre of my butterfly for added dimension and also added some delicate splatters of red paint. I also added some stamping to the butterfly wing, again using my A4 Stamp.
I included a couple of Tim Holtz Index Clip for a further element of interest.
I adore all the layers on this card and my trademark cotton threads add even further texture to the design.
Thanks so much for stopping by. The stamps and stencil I incorporated in this design are shown below.

Today Is Full Of Possibilities

Welcome, today I have a post showcasing my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of stockists in the Boutique HERE.
I decorated an Etcetera Tag, these are a wonderful substrate to decorate and take so much medium without warping. I began by adding texture, applying Texture Paste to the background and then applying paint layers, in this case Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Distress Paints. I love how the darker tone sits in the crevices of the Texture Paste.
I used Autour de Mwa's stencil #28, applying Texture Paste over the stencil, removing the stencil and whilst the Paste is still wet I then sprinkled Seth Apter's Dirty Sand Baked Texture over the top. I allowed the Paste to dry completely and then heated the Baked Texture. This gives my tag a wonderful tactile feel.
I am loving my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp, so many possibilites and here I used the stamp to add stamped layers to my tag.
There is so much detail on the A4 stamp, giving me so many possibilites for stamping different elements to the background.
I used a Prima Mould as my focal piece, adding rusty wire to the outside for added texture and interest. I coloured my clay piece with Dina Wakley's Buff Paint, dried with a heat tool and then applied a layer of Ground Espresso Distress Paint to the top, dried a little and then wiped the paint back to give a wonderful aged feel to my piece.
I really enjoyed creating this piece and I am pleased with the outcome.

These are the products used in my creative piece.

Dream in Flowers

Welcome to another post for AALLandCreate showcasing my Natures Garden stamp set.

I loved decorating this Etcetera tag adding lots of layered texture. I began by applying a random coat of Texture Paste to my tag and I then stamped my A4 stamp into the Texture Paste, spritzing my stamp with water first before stamping into the paste. Please remember to clean your stamp immediately with this technique. Once the paste was completely dry, I then applied a coat of Antique Linen Distress Paint to the surface and then dried with a heat tool. I then applied a second layer of paint, this time Vintage Photo Distress Paint, dried a little and then wiped back the paint with a baby wipe.
My A4 stamp set is available from our stockists listed HERE.
I cut out a circle from a remnant of fabric and frayed the edges and then stamped part of my A4 stamp onto the fabric using Acorn Archival Ink. I also added some delicate splatters of black paint and a story stick for added interest.
I stamped my flowers from my Natures Garden stamp set onto the same fabric, cut them out and then added to the bottom of my tag. This picture also highlights the wonderful texture in the background.
The fabric itself also adds further texture to the design.
I also added further stencilling to the background, adding texture paste over Autour de Mwa's stencil. I also added a scrabble tile for added dimension.
A vintage dip pen gives further dimension to the design. I also included some doodling to the edges of my tag with a black pen.
I added some of Dina Wakley's Media Tape and sstamped the text Grow onto the tape using the wording from my Quirky Blossoms stamp set.
I love mixing the stamps sets and using them all together in one cohesive design.
This piece really does have to be seen in real life to really appreciate the texture in the background.
The AALLandCreate stamp sets can be purchased from the Boutique.

Beautiful Blooms

Welcome to another of my AALLandCreate blog posts showcasing my recently released sets of stamps.
I really enjoyed creating this piece, something a little different, using one of Tim Holtz Framed Panels. I only added a touch of colour to the frame, dry brushing white acrylic paint over the detail to soften the frame a little to blend with my artwork.
I used my Quirky Blossoms for this piece, which I adore. I stamped the Blossom onto Parchment Paper and then embossed on the back of the Parchment with an embossing tool to give me the white areas.
I stamped onto the parchment paper with VersaMark Ink and then embossed with Nuvo Glitter Embossing Powder to add a little sparkle to my design. I added a second layer to the flower to give dimension, adding dimension to the flower head only.
I added some delicate splatters of white paint and added some stitching to the stems. You do have to be careful when sewing into parchment so that the parchment does not tear.
I also included a vintage pen nib, painted silver for further dimension and interest along with the sentiment Simply Beautiful, also stamped onto parchment paper.
I stamped numbers with Distress Oxide Ink using my Date It stamp along with the month of May also stamped onto white card with Distress Oxide Ink.
All the new releases are available from our stockists using the link HERE.
I loved working with parchment this time around and it really does give an alternative look to my stamp designs.
All the AALLandCreate stamp sets are available from the Boutique.
