Animal Instinct

Today I have a card for you combining one of Olga's stamps in conjunction with my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp. You can find Olga's stamp HERE and my Layered Grunge Stamp HERE. All available from AALLandCreate.

 I love working on craft card, this time around using Dina Wakley Paints over a white painted backdrop and then blending two colours to give a seamless colour backdrop. I also added some Infusion Crystals to the background and then spritzed with water.

I added some stamping to the inside of the card this time around also incorporating some delicate splatters of paint.

Background stamping using my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp has been added randomly to the background along with some delicate splatters of white paint.

I added the focal imagery to a couple of die cut circles to give dimension and then incorporated a Jump Ring to echo the die cut circles.

Cotton threads also add further texture to the design.

DREAM

Welcome, today I have a card combining my Natures Garden stamp set with lots of texture along with my A4 Layered Grunge stamp.

I began by brayering a piece of white card with Lime Acrylic Paint from Dina Wakley, brayering a good layer to the card. I then added touches of Night and Turqoise to give depth to my design. I then repeated the process to add light layers of the same colours, brayering each colour lightly over the top. The paint was then dried with a Heat Tool.

I am loving these colours together at the moment and I love how each layer is visible and the touches of white lift the design perfectly.

The DREAM and flower heads have been stamped onto a piece of card that has been brayered with Turquoise Acrylic Paint.

I added some texture using Kassa's stencil and once the Texture Paste was completely dry I added further touches of acrylic paint.

I love the shading from the Night Acrylic Paint, a colour I am often afraid to use but I am really pleased with the combination here.

A touch of background stamping and random staples added to my flower stems along with delicate splatters of white paint complete my design.

Bloom and Grow

Welcome today I have a card for you using my Feathered Bloom Border Stamp. I adore this stamp, the detail is fantastic and it is so versatile. You can find the stamp set HERE.

I opted for an Alcohol Ink background on Yupo Paper to give an alternative look to my design.

I love the pop of red from the flower set against the bold colours from the Alcohol Inks.

I also incorporated my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp, adding DREAM and some random background stamping.

The pops of white lift the whole design and add a further layer to the piece.

I also added the sentiment Bloom and Grow from the same Border Stamp.

I also added some delicate splatters of red paint.

Twinkle

Hi and welcome to todays post in which I am showcasing a card using one of my older stamps from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our stockists HERE. You can find the stamp set HERE.

 I began by adding Low Tack Tape to the outside edges of my card, leaving a central panel openn for decoration. I then blended Peacock Feathers Distress Ink around the centre and then spritzed Autour de Mwa's stencil #7 with water and then placed the stencil water side down onto the ink and then dabbed the back of the stencil with a piece of kitchen towel. Dry the Ink with a Heat Tool.

With the Low Tack Tape still in place I then staped the stars in the background using Black Archival Ink. Once this stamping was complete I then removed the Low Tack Tape.

I added a scribbly line of white pen around the outside edge of the aperture to highlight further and I then added dimensional stars for my focal imagery, adding cotton threads behind for added texture. I also added some background stamping to the stars using my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp. The background stamping added to the stars has been done with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.

This picture showcases the stencilled backdrop perfectly. I love adding lots of layers to my designs. I also included some delicate splatters of white paint.

Adornment Stars add further dimension to my design.

Really happy with how this one turned out and it could be used for a Birthday or Christmas Card depending on your chosenn sentiment.

AALL&Create Mixed Media Canvas

Hi and welcome to todays post in which I am showcasing a canvas from a recent Facebook Live using my stamps from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our stockists HERE.

I won't go into too much detail as I will add my Facebook Live video below for those who have not seen the project the first time around.

In this facebook live I challenged myself to use three paint colours only.

I will add a few close up shots below so you can see the canvas in more detail.

I really enjoyed making this piece and adding lots of layers to my piece.

I love adding vintage pieces and in this case I incorporated an Bicycle Oil Dropper.

I love mixing old with new.

Artful Blooms

Welcome, today I have a card for you using my A6 Natures Garden stamp set, combined with my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp from AALLandCreate, with a touch of stencilling using Kassa's stencil. You can find a list of our stockists HERE.

I created a background using my A4 Layered Grunge stamp, inking the stamp with Distress Oxides Candied Apple and Faded Jeans.

I added a touch of stencilling to the background using Kassa's stencil, which adds a touch of texture to my backdrop.

I coloured a piece of card with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink and then stamped my flower heads onto the coloured card, cut out and added to my background.

I added a few delicate splatters of black paint and also added my 'garden' sentiment.

A touch of hand stitching adds further texture to my design.
