Today I am showcasing a card I created as one of my demo pieces during my recent One Day Special on Hochanda, using my A6 Stamp
"Curiosities" #209, combined with my background A6 Stamp "Background Mash-up" #210 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I love the detail from the background stamp, which I stamped in Distress Oxide Inks.
I incorporated some rolls of vintage book pages for a touch of added texture along with some cotton thread.
I love the hand on the Curiosities set especially set against these vibrant colours, which I applied with a brayer directly onto an Artist Trading Coin.
I also incorporated some circle reinforces for added interest.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Imagine
Today I am showcasing a card created entirely from leftovers, leftover paint, inky backgrounds etc., using my A5 Stamp
"Hope" #200, combined with my background A6 Stamp "Background Mash-up" #210 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
The background layer was excess paint I brayered onto my card from a previous project and I thought it was too good just to add to the bin.
The flower was stamped onto another background that was excess paint brayered onto a scrap of card and I simply stamped my flower head onto the painted backdrop three times and then adhered them together to create a dimensional flower.
I also added some delicate stencilling which was, once again, excess paste from my stencil from a previous project and I simply wiped over the stencil onto this card, using only the excess paste remaining on the stencil.
I doodled some black lines around the edges of my card to make everything pop and I also included a pot cut from waste backgrounds from previous backgrounds.
Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog. Tracy x x

Believe In Yourself
Today I am showcasing a card I created on my Hochanda Show on Friday
9th August and Saturday 10th August using my A5 Stamp
"Hope" #200, combined with my background A6 Stamp "Background Mash-up" #210 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
You can re watch the shows on catch up if you missed them the first time around.
I was really pleased with how this card turned out, I love the colours and how all the layers are visible in the design, adding wonderful depth, drawing the viewer into the card.
I added a touch of background stamping using my "Background Mash-up" Stamp using tone on tone colours. and you can also see the touch of stencilling in the background too.
Vintage book pages add another element to the design, also adding further texture.
I also love the touches of grey stamping in the background.

Simply Beautiful
Today I am showcasing a card I created on my Hochanda Show on Friday
9th August and Saturday 10th August using my A6 Stamp
"Hexagonal Tiles" #208, from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
You can re watch the shows on catch up if you missed them the first time around.
When I designed the Hexagonal Tiles for this stamp I had in my mind creating patchwork backgrounds and I thought creating a dress to showcase the Hexagons worked perfectly.
The little touches of black really pop against the more vibrant backdrop.
I added a touch of stencilling to the backdrop to give dimension and texture to my design.
You can see a touch of black stencilling in the background again just to add contrast to the design.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate all your comments and feedback. Tracy x x

Time Flies
Today I am showcasing a canvas I created on my Hochanda Show on Friday
9th August and Saturday 10th August using my A4 Stamp
"Time Flies" #143, from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
You can re watch the shows on catch up if you missed them the first time around.
I applied vintage book pages to my canvas board with Distress Collage Medium and then applied Dina Wakley Acrylic Paint to my board, applying a good even layer and then placed the alphabet stencil onto the wet paint and used a baby wipe to wipe over the open areas of the stencil. I then dried the layers of paint.
I love adding pops of red to Turquoise and Lime, I think it packs a punch to the design. I also added delicate splatters of red paint. I also stamped the clock from the Time Flies stamp in the background using VersaFine Clair Ink.
A couple of layers have been added to the butterfly to give further dimension to the design. I love how the text from the book pages is visible below the stencilling.
No butterfly is complete without the addition of a rusty nail and some cotton threads for added texture. I also included some delicate splatters of white paint.
To complete, I incorporated the sentiment 'Time Flies'.
Thanks so much for stopping by and as always, thank you so much for your continued support. Tracy x x

Make A Difference
Today I am showcasing a card I created on my Hochanda Show on Friday 9th August and Saturday 10th August using my newly released A5 Stamp
"Eclectic Stems" #199, from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
You can re watch the shows on catch up if you missed them the first time around.
I have to say a huge THANK YOU to you all for the the truly amazing response I had following my shows, I am truly overwhelmed and appreciate every single comment and I will respond to each one, I am just working my way through them. You all helped make my experience one to remember.
I love the dramatic look of the red set against the black and white backdrop, makes for a bold statement.
The parchment gives a further textural element to my piece.
A few delicate white splatters of paint lift the whole design. I have also added a touch of stencilling for further interest.
I have given the heads of the flowers three layers to give further dimension to my design.

Make A Difference
Today I have a framed mixed media piece using my newly released A5 Stamp "Eclectic Stems" #199, combined with my A4 Stamp "Blossomed Numbers" #109 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I created this piece on a workshop I was teaching, this was my demo piece and I was thrilled with the outcome.
A few close up shots of the background etc. I love the clay piece, the detail from the stamps is fantastic.
I incorporated some hand stitching for added texture to my design.
The clay piece really adds a different dimension to the design along with some added chicken wire for further texture.
A few delicate splatters of white paint lift the design.

Another Year = 365 More Opportunities
Today I have a card using my newly released Border Stamp "Postal Rose" #205, from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I created the background by combining Distress Oxides Picked Raspberry and Mermaid Lagoon, brayering them onto my Gel Press and then adding a few splatters of Infusions into the mix and then pressing my white card lightly onto the Gel Press. You can also get a second print by spritzing the remainder ink left on the Press with water and then pressing a second piece of card onto the Press.
This close up really shows the colour perfectly. I love the layers and splatters.
I adore the mesh in the background on this Postal Rose and it can be used in so many backgrounds as an added element along with the post marks too.
I also added a dimensional Rose and incorporated some wire for added interest and texture. Vintage book pages also add a further layer of interest.
