Winged Silhouette

Morning everyone, today I am showcasing my card I created on my Facebook Live this week. I was so pleased with the result, using my A4 Stamps "Eclectic Silhouette" #113 comgined with "Nature Elements" #267.

I used Distress Oxide Inks Fossilized Amber and Vintage Photo to create my background and to colour my focal imagery.

I also decorated the inside of my card to give a professional finish to the design.

These close up pictures show you the layers in much more detail than you can see on the video below.

I love adding a touch of metal embellishments for further interest and dimension to my design.

Below is the Facebook Live video, if you missed it the first time around.

If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Eclectic Silhouette

Welcome, today I have a mixed media card, using my A4 Stamp Eclectic Silhouette #113 from AALLandCreate.
I began by applying Gesso through a circular aperture, applying the Gesso with a piece of Cut 'n' Dry Foam and then dried the layer with my Heat Tool. I then applied Distress Oxide Vintage Photo to my background, the Gesso resists the ink and gives me a resist.
I also added a touch more stencilling using Autour de Mwa's stencil #39 Lotza Dotz, applying Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink directly over the stencil and then spritzing with water.
I added stamping to the background using VersaFine Clair Acorn ink and then added layers to give definition to my design. I stamped the silhouette a second time with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and then blended the ink with a waterbrush around the edges of the silhouette to give a touch of shading.
I also added a tea bag to my design for a touch more texture along with two die cut circles for added interest.
I love the layers and dimension on this card. To complete, I added a couple of pieces of media tape randomly to my background.

Find Beauty in the Ordinary

Welcome, today I have a small mixed media book, decorated using my A4 Stamp Eclectic Silhouette #113 from AALLandCreate.

I began by adding some subtle stencilling to my background and then adding colour, applying Distress Oxide Bundled Sage to a piece of Acetate, spritzing with water and then pressing the ink onto my background.  I allowed the ink to dry naturally.
I opted to use the Dragonfly this time around from my A4 stamp, adding a couple of layers to the wings for added dimension.
I applied Dina Wakley Fuchsia Acrylic Paint to my stamp, adding a light layer of paint to the stamp and applying the paint with a Brayer. I then stamped the image onto my background. Remember to clean your stamp after using paints.
I added a subtle touch of Crackle Paste to the background and also incorporated a mini spanner for the body, adding further dimension to the design.
A couple of Jump Rings add further interest along with a few delicate splatters of Lime Acrylic Paint.
I used a Distress Crayon over Stencil #39 and then blended the colour with my finger to blend.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I really appreciate your comments and feedback. Tracy x x

With Brave Wings She Flies

Welcome, today I have a mixed media piece using my A4 Stamp Eclectic Silhouette #113 from AALLandCreate.
I began this dimension piece with layers of paper from 13 Arts designed by Fiona, decorating all sides of my That's Crafty substrate.
I then added some DecoArt Media Crackle Paste to the sides and edges of my piece to add a further layer of texture, allowing the Paste to dry naturally. I also included a piece of driftwood for added dimension and texture.
My focal image is the silhouette from my A4 stamp which I adore, there are so many possibilites with this stamp and so many details. I stamped the Silhouette onto a piece of 13 Arts Paper and added tocches of colour with Distress Oxide Ink (Vintage Photo).
My background piece has also been covered with Seth Apter's Vintage Beeswax Powder, adding another aged element to my piece.
I added some SnipArt pieces behind my silhouette along with a layer of Crackle Paste applied through a stencil Quadrilaterals which you can find HERE. I also included a SnipArt sentiment 'INSPIRE' coloured with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and then covered with Clear Embossing Powder, adding touches of gold wax to the top.
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment.

Create Your Dreams

I had fun with this project, combining my A4 Eclectic Silhouette #113 with Eileen Hull's Sizzix Passport Book. All the new products are available from our stockists HERE, simply scroll down.
I opted to stamp part of my design onto parchment paper, I love the feel and look of parchment and was delighted with the detail on my stamp once stamped onto the parchment. I then added the parchment piece to the cover of my Passport Book, which I machine stitched into place.
I added the bird detail in my stamp to the back of my Passport Book and I have to say I am absolutely delighted with the way this turned out.
I love the touches of detail in my silhouette and I stamped the silhouette onto a brayered background of Turquoise and Lime Acrylic Paint, stapling the silhouette onto my backdrop. I also included a large Art Stone to highlight one of the numbers.
I added metal wire to the top of my silhouette, adding touches of paint to the wire with my finger. I also opted to showcase one of the sentiments in the same colours.
I used the same techniques on the back of my book, I adore this sentiment. I also included delictae splatters of paint to echo the pops of colour in  my design.
The detail in this stamp is amazing and I am so thrilled how it turned out. A metal Index Clip adds further dimension and texture to the back of my book.
I added one of my sentiments to the spine of my book.
There are so many ways you can use this stamp, the possibilities are endless and I can't wait to explore more designs with this one.

Eclectic Silhouette for AALLandCreate

Welcome, today I am delighted to be sharing with you another creation using my newly released "Eclectic Silhouette" A4 stamp from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available on preorder from our stockists which you can find HERE.
I hope you like this stamp as much as me, I am absolutely delighted with how this turned out and there are so many possibilities.
I opted to create a card using the top detail from the stamp this time around.
I stamped the imagery onto white card and kept the background predominantly black and white and then added pops of colour to some of the elements.
The silhouette could be used on its own and so could the other elements within the stamp design.
I opted for Tangerine and Magenta for my colour palette and I am delighted with the pops of colour against the black and white background.
There is so much detail on this stamp and the silhouette has a couple of words and musical notes inside the body.
I added some vellum sentiments to give a touch more interest and to give the card further texture and also included some delicate splatters of Magenta Paint.
A jigsaw piece has been included for further dimension.
