Bee Plaque

Morning everyone, hope you are all well. Today I have a mixed media plaque using my Honeybee stamp #330.

I also created this piece during a Facebook Live. I always think its lovely to revisit a project and look at it in more detail. Below is the video, whould you wish to rewatch.

Below are some more close ups.

I love the background on the plaque, it adds so much texture to the design.

The frame really draws the eye into the focal imagery.

The Honeybee image is such a good size and can stand alone to give a statement.

I also incorporated some metal embellishments for further interest and dimension.

I love the addition of the pocket watch to house the bee.
The chicken wire adds further texture to the design along with the paperclip and vintage book page.
I also incorporated my A4 Stamp Set "Plant Your Dreams"

The background stamping adds further layered elements to the design.

I just love the heart and how the bee sits on top of the ornate frame.

Protect Our Bees

Evening everyone, popping by with a sample I have created for my shows on Hochanda this weekend 26th, 27th and 28th June. Show times - 10am and 2pm ~Friday, 7am and 1pm Saturday and 10am and 2pm Sunday.  I have several stamp sets being showcased this time around and I have prepared 12 videos to be aired on Hochanda, hope you enjoy them.
I love creating pieces on a circular format and this piece was fun to make.
I love adding close up shots of my pieces as you really can see all the layers and detail.
I love adding the wood effect in the background, which I think works so effectively with the coordinated wood slice.
The bee on this set is a really good size and makes an impressive focal piece.
Touches of calico and cotton thread add further texture.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
