Beauty and Grace

I wanted to have another play with my new Finnabair Prima Impasto paints so decided to decorate one of Tim Holtz Etcetera tags.
I began by painting the tag with Cobalt (oh this is going to become a favourite colour for me, I love it!) and then blended Azure towards the bottom of the tag. These paints are gorgeous, so thick in consistency and rich in colour.
I painted one of the Prima Resin Frames this one is called Chantilly Royal with Cobalt Impasto Paint and once dry I then added wax over the top to highlight the wonderful detail. I added some texture behind the frame adding Texture Paste over a Tim Holtz Floral Layering Stencil and then sanding back to add white highlights to the texture. I also added Paper Dolls to the inside of my frame, adding cotton threads behind for added texture.
I also added some Prima Antique Metalware (spoon) which I also painted with the Impasto Paint and then added highlights with wax. I also added a Finnabair rusty heart to the centre of the spoon.
Tim Holtz flowers and heart charm add further interest and dimension to the design.
I added Remnant Rubs for a further layer of interest along with some delicate splatters of white paint. I also included a Finnabair metal butterfly for added dimension and movement.
Clippings Stickers from Tim Holtz were perfect for adding wording.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

This is a fabulous tag, love the colour and the white embossing gives a great contrast with the darker blue frame. Lots to look at here.

The rich shades of blue are just stunning Tracy both in the background and as focal colours that blend, complement and contrast with each other beautifully. I love how you highlighted the frame and sanded back the textured flowers using white to add even more contrast and interest to your gorgeous tag Love it xxx

Gorgeous rich colour tones - I can absolutely see why you love the Cobalt - and the gilding over the texture on the frame is magical.

Absolutely in love with those colours - gonna have to look at getting me some of these . the white highlighted stenciling is very striking against those rich blues and a great way to high light the texture created . This tag has the lush factor for sure .
