Wishing You Happy Everything

Today I am showcasing a card I created as one of my demo pieces from a few shows I have attended around the country, using my A5 Stamp "Eclectic Stems" #199, from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I have really enjoyed the past few projets I have created and I am now officially in love with the colour purple in my artwork. Isn't it funny how we change from one month to the next with the things we love and for me my choice of colour schemes changes as much as the weather!!
I created my background by applying Broken China, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks to my non-stick craft sheet, spritzing with water and then mopping up the beads of ink with my card. I repeated this process about 5 times, spritzing the ink in between applications with water.
I used the little daisy stamp from my A5 Stamp "Eclectic Stems" stamping the daisy stem with VersaFine Clair Monarch, Distress Oxide Wilted Violet and VersaFine Clair Noctorne. Stamping in different inks and shades gives depth and dimension to the design.
Very difficult to see in the pictures but I did add a few touches of glitter to give a touch of sparkle to my design. I also included some vintage book pages from a vintage gardening book.
A few delicate splatters of white paint add a further layer of interest.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Ha, ha Tracy, you have got me ever so slightly hooked on purple too now (my purple coloured Distress Inks had never been opened!!). This card just shows why purple is such a beautiful colour and that sentiment is possibly my most favourite because it is ideal for lots of different occasions. Hugs, Anne xxx
