Sunday Stamper Challenge

On Hels' blog this week the challenge is to use METAL in your artwork.   On this weeks challenge I decided to use some metal embossed with a cuttlebug folder.
The first embossing folder I came accross in my stash was the holly so I thought why not.  How stupid, the sun is shining and it's very warm in my craft room so inspiration was not flowing for Christmas cards at this time of year but I persevered, probably took me more time to find Christmas paper than actually make the project LOL.
Products used: Metal sheet; Cuttlebug folder; BoBunny paper; StazOn inks blazing red, olive green, timber brown; Tim Holtz embellishments; Wendy Vecchi Just Word Art stamps; Darkroom Door Christmas Reindeer set (text only used); circle punch for flower and button.  An the finished result:-
Have a great Monday everyone,  Tracy x x

Great! I love the glossy dark metal, it's beautiful. I would not have been able to resist sanding the metal, and that would have been a whole different look! Love love love this - not your typical Christmas card in anyway! The ornamental plate is tres chic and you found the perfect holly paper, even if it did take you a while!

You have inspired me, I think I am going to use metal on my next Alice card - my swan song farewell as it's my last post as the Oh, Alice! guest designer for June.
