Pen Nib Card

Morning and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card for you showcasing my "Knibs and Mushrooms" Border Stamp #276 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I am really enjoying using my nibs imagery at the moment, it's so versatile and easy to use in so many designs. Here I have set the nibs against a simple stencilled background. I have simply blended Wilted Violet and Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Inks over the Weathered Tiles Stencil.
There is quite a bit of detail in the focal image so I want to keep the background fresh and uncluttered for this card.
I have added a square spotlight to give definition to my design and to add further definition to the spotlight I have drawn around the shape with a grey Inktense pencil.
I have also used my "Frame It" Stamp Set #282 to add further detail to the edges of my card.
I use this sentiment a great deal in my creations it is from my A5 Stamp Set "Thankful Petals" #272.
To finish, I added a mini paperclip for further interest along with some delicate splatters of white paint.

Thanks so much for stopping by, Tracy x x

This is fabulous Tracy - I love the nib stamp and it's on my wish list along with a load of others lol. Great colours and love how the stamp around the edge draws your eye to the main image. Stay safe and stay well xx

I love that expression - 'there is beauty in simplicity' and it certainly applies in this case - such a beautiful card Tracy. Hugs, Anne xx
