Prima Mixed Media Selection

This week I thought I would challenge myself to make a couple of mixed media pieces using the fabulous Prima range of products.
This is a picture heavy post so I will keep it to a selection of pictures showing you the detail of each project.
This canvas has been created for a swap I am involved with arranged by my good friend Lesley.
The focal image is from Finnabair's range of stamps released this year.
To add colour to my canvas I used Primary Elements.
I also used recyled elements, netting from fruit, lollipop stick, hairclip, tissue paper to name a few.
I have also recycled an old paintbrush and pieces of ribbon too.
My next canvas also uses recycled elements and lots of Prima embellishments and once again Finnabair's stamps.
Finnabair's Mica Powders have been used to add colour to my design.
I love the textural element to these designs.
Two recycled spoons take centre stage on this design.
I have also used a Prima stencil to add a further layer of interest.
Continuing on the Prima theme I also made this altered book this month using Prima stamps and embellishments along with Eileen Hull's die.

Prima Marketing also have a DT call out at the moment which I only noticed two days ago so I am cutting it fine, but I thought I would give it a try.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
