A Patriotic Artist Trading Block

Morning, it's the first of the month which means it is time for our monthly Art With Heart Challenge and this month the challenge is "Red, White and Beautiful" which you can interprete in any way you like. I was feeling patriotic so decided to create an ATB using the Tim Holtz London Sights stamp set.
The front of my ATB has an aperture to showcase my focal image die cut using the Eileen Hull Decorative Frame die and the ATB has been die cut using the fabulous Block/Cube die
Each piece to decorate the sides of my ATB were brayered with Fired Brick Distress Paint, spritzed with water and then touches of Faded Jeans brayered lightly over the top. I then flicked Picket Fence Distress Paint onto the top.
Touches of background stamping have been added to the front of the block using the background stamp from Tim Holtz Classics 9 stamp set and Vermillion Archival Ink.  I also included a 'patriotic' Chitchat sticker for added interest along with an earring embellishment and LONDON stamped onto shrink plastic. The side of my ATB has been stamped with the Big Ben image and postage stamp background stamps.
I have included the Union Jack on this side along with LONDON stamped onto shrink plastic once again, and I added a few more splatters of Picket Fence paint.
LONDON has been stamped randomly around the background on this side and then stamped once again and bent at the ends to give dimension to the sentiment.
Red, white and blue rosettes have been included, stamping the centre of each rosette with the postage stamp. I have also included some ribbon coloured with Distress Ink and a further 'patriotic' Chitchat sticker. I have also added a heart earring embellishment for added interest.
The top of my ATB has Big Ben stamped in black Archival Ink, touches of background stamping, Chitchat stickers and a small earring Big Ben charm.
