PIONEER

I've been using the fabulous Charles & Amelia and Industrial Backgrounds plates from Artistic Outpost for my chunky ATC.
I stamped my background image first with black Archival Ink, sponged with brushed corduroy and vintage photo ink, adding black soot to the edges. A circular piece has been cut from white card and the fabulous image from the Charles & Amelia plate stamped with Archival Ink and again sponged with Distress Inks. I have added some chicken wire to add to the industrial feel along with some washers from my husbands tool box. PIONEER has been stamped onto white card and coloured as before.  I have added the aeroplanes to acetate to give the appearance of them floating.
The opposite side of my ATC has been decorated in the same way using other images from the AO plates again adding chicken wire and washers for that industrial feel.
The sides have the cogs stamped in Archival Ink and a wing from Tim's Idea-ology for added interest. To tone down the silver of the wings I applied heat to them from my cooker to darken the colour.

Pop over to the Artistic Outpost blog and check out our monthly referral program, this month our theme is SPRINGPUNK.

Thanks for stopping by, Tracy x x
