HAPPY SPRING

I've been getting a little inky this morning with a tag for 100 Proof Press using Flower Face and Calendar Blocks.
The background for my tag is made from kitchen towel which I have coloured with Distress Stains fired brick, forest moss and peeled paint. I applied the inks to my craft sheet and then mopped them up with the kitchen towel. Once the towel was dry, I added layers of kitchen towel on top of each other to give some thickness, adhering with PVA glue and once dry I machine stitched to my tag.
My flower was stamped onto white card six times and layered to form my dimensional bloom.  The card was coloured with Distress Stain fired brick and sprayed with Copper Cosmic Shimmer Mist.  Coiled wire was added for my flower stems.
I stamped March, April and May onto white card, coloured with fired brick stain, added a brad and adhered to the bottom of my tag. Happy Spring is the finishing touch.
This is the stamp used to create my dimensional flower, I used three layers of the full flower and then cut away a couple of the petals for my other layers.  Now I am away to wash my inky hands.

Thanks for stopping by, Tracy x x

Loving the background - always think the underneath work surface looks nicer than some of my makes! Last night I had a wonderfully rusty embossed craft mat but a bit too dear to cut up.

Great rich tines Tracy and flowers that ooze spring with hints of Dahlia petals!
