AALL&Create Mixed Media Canvas

Hi and welcome to todays post in which I am showcasing a canvas from a recent Facebook Live using my stamps from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our stockists HERE.
I won't go into too much detail as I will add my Facebook Live video below for those who have not seen the project the first time around.

In this facebook live I challenged myself to use three paint colours only.
I will add a few close up shots below so you can see the canvas in more detail.
I really enjoyed making this piece and adding lots of layers to my piece.
I love adding vintage pieces and in this case I incorporated an Bicycle Oil Dropper.
I love mixing old with new.
Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you enjoyed the Facebook Live video. Below are the products I used in this piece.

Love Life

Today I have a card for you using my heart stamp set combined with stencils from Kassa and Carol and Co from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our stockists HERE.
My background is a mop up of paints that I had left from a previous project. I simply spritzed the paint I had left on my non-stick craft sheet with water and then mopped up the paint with my card and then dried with a heat tool. I used Dina Wakley's Lime and Turquoise paints.
I applied Turquoise paint over Carol and Co's stencil to add the wording life to the background and then using the same stencil I added some random texture with Texture Paste. I also incorporated some random lines with Texture Paste using Kassa's stencil. I love the layer on top of layer of texture.
I brayered a scrap piece of card with Turquoise paint and then very light touches of Ruby and then stamped my heart on top of the painted background and then cut out the heart and added to my card.
I added a touch more stencilling to the stem of my heart along with a random cross stitch for added texture. I also added a ChitChat sticker LOVE to correspond with LIFE to give LOVE LIFE sentiment.
I also added some delicate splatters of black and lime paint to the background.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Welcome, today I have a card for you using my A6 Natures Garden stamp set, combined with my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp from AALLandCreate, with a touch of stencilling using Kassa's stencil. You can find a list of our stockists HERE.
I created a background using my A4 Layered Grunge stamp, inking the stamp with Distress Oxides Candied Apple and Faded Jeans.
I added a touch of stencilling to the background using Kassa's stencil, which adds a touch of texture to my backdrop.
I coloured a piece of card with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink and then stamped my flower heads onto the coloured card, cut out and added to my background.
I added a few delicate splatters of black paint and also added my 'garden' sentiment.
A touch of hand stitching adds further texture to my design.

Heart Accordion

Welcome, today I have an accordion card for you. I have used my A6 Heart Stamp Set, combined with my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp from AALLandCreate, combined with Autour de Mwa's stencil. You can find a list of our stockists HERE.
I have opted for a dramatic Red, Black and Turquoise colour palette this time around, making a bold statement for my small accordion.
I layered the Dina Wakley Paints with a Brayer, using Ruby, Turquoise and Night. I also brayered some White to lighten the colours a little.
I have added some layered stamping using my A4 Layered Grunge stamp, I love using this stamp to add small details to a background.
I stamped this heart onto a piece of card which I had used to brayer off my excess paint, I then added some background stamping to the heart using my A4 Stamp. I also love the splatters of Turquoise paint which echo the Turqoise hearts.
I added a few scratchy lines using an old credit card and Night paint along with some scraps from the edges of a watercolour pad and I also incorporated some ChitChat Stickers.
The touches of white lift the design and I also incorporated some white scribble lines around the edges of each panel. The stencilled texture adds a further layer of interest.
This heart set is one of my favourites.

Embrace Imperfection

Welcome, today I have a mixed media card. I used my A6 Heart Stamp Set from AALLandCreate, combined with Autour de Mwa's stencil. You can find a list of our stockists HERE.
I loved creating this card and experimenting with adding black to my background, quite a challenge but I love how it turned out.
I added layers of paint with my Brayer and I used Dina Wakley's Night, Turqoise and Lime paints.
I added further layers with Autour de Mwa's stencil, applying Archival Ink over the stencil and a further layer with texture paste.
I love how from this picture you can clearly see all the layered elements.
I added splatters of paint and incorporated my sentiment from the Heart Set along with some edges from a watercolour pad to add further texture.
I love how this piece came together and I will experiment further with adding layers of black.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Mixed Media Embroidery Hoop - Flower Heads

Welcome, today I have an altered embroidery hoop for you. I used my A4 Layered Grunge stamp set from AALLandCreate, combined with my A6 Quirky Blossoms Stamp Set. You can find a list of our stockists HERE.
I love altering embroidery hoops, a real alternative to obvious substrates and they are fun to decorate too.
I stamped my Layered Grunge stamp in its entirety onto a piece of white card using Distress Oxide Inks Candied Apple and Faded Jeans. I used my Misti Stamping Platform for this to ensure I had a good impression and it worked beautifully.
I added the stamped background to my embroidery hoop and then stamped my Quirky Blossoms onto a piece of card coloured with Distress Oxide Ink. I then adhered the flowers to the background and added the quirky faces to the top of the flowers, hence the title Flower Heads.
I added some delicate splatters of paint to the background and from this picture you can see the two tone stamping.
The hoop itself was painted with Gesso and then a coat of Distress Paint. I also added some background stamping, again using my A4 Layered Grunge stamp and also incorporated some delicate splatters of paint to coordinate with the background.
The background stamping has also had a layer of clear embossing powder applied for added texture.
The clay heads themselves have been painted with Distress Paints and wiped back to give a vintage feel.
Some cotton threads complete my piece.

Below are the products used in this piece.
