Best Wishes Today, Tomorrow and Always

Morning everyone, welcome to the start of another week. Hope you are all keeping well and safe.

Today I have a card using my Passion Flower border stamp #278 combined with Alcohol Inks.
I have now found a new love for Alcohol Inks. This time around I have used Alcohol Inks on smooth white card 300gsm over an embossed image and I adore the result.
I love the richness of colour but most of all I like the fact that they look totally different when compared to when they are applied to Yupo Paper.
I framed my centre flower, to act as a spotlight and I also included touches of chicken wire, which I love for added texture and interest.
I also added a touch of colour with coloured pencils and also incorporated a touch of stencilling too.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Fritillaria

Morning, today I have a card using one of the stamps that will be available on my One Day Special on Hochanda on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th April. This card uses my border stamp "Fritillaria" #274 combined with my A7 Stamp "Overlapping Texture" #307 from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our Stockists HERE.

You can also see the One Day Special bundle HERE.
Sometimes I just love creating a lovely simple card that still has layers but not too over complicated and I really enjoyed creating this one.
I stamped the "Overlapping Texture" stamp with Byzantium Acrylic Paint which I love and I love how the stamping is quite random and has no sharp edges, that really appeals to me.
On this occasion I used the Fritillaria on its own, not incorporating any of the background detail from the stamp and I love the simplicity of the flower. These are so beautiful in the garden in Spring.
I added an index clip and a few delicate splatters of paint, not too much so that I do not overpower the design.
I would like to thank you all for your overwhelming support over the past few weeks.

Tracy

Create with Passion

Today I have a card using my border stamp "Passion Flower" #278 combined with my A7 Stamp "Overlapping Texture" #307 from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our Stockists HERE.

These two stamps will also be available and part of the One Day Special Bundle on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th April 2020.
The background is created from the scraps left on my Gel Press. I also added some random stamping to the background with my "Overlapping Texture" stamp , stamped with Sedona Acrylic Paint by Dina Wakley.
I brayered Sedona Paint onto my stamp and then stamped ont othe card, I love how there are no straight lines, giving a random feel to the stamping. I also incorporated some texture using Stencil 45, applying Cheddar Paint to my stencil and then spritzing with water and placing the stencil, paint side down onto my card.
I stamped my flower onto oa brayered backdrop and added some dimension to my flower. On this occasion, I only used one part of the stamp.
I added some black tape for further interest along with a sentiment and delicate splatters of white paint.

Every Day is a new Adventure

I love my A4 Stamp Daisy Elegance and today I have a card for which I created recently on a Facebook Live. The Daisy Elegance Stamp #266 from AALLandCreate is an A4 stamp perfect for mixed media, cards, journal pages and so much more.

Our stockists can be found HERE.
If you did not catch the Facebook Live the first time around you can rewatch below.

I will add more detailed pictures below so that you can see the card up close and personal.
You can see the gesso resist in the background from this picture.
Those white highlights on the petals really make the flower pop.
I love the white stamping on the petals, it adds so much added detail.
The shading around the petals and vase really make the imagery pop against that background, giving it an almost 3D like appearance.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate your comments and support.

Hoot Hoot

I love my little quirky owls and this time around I have a card for you using a second generation Gel Press Print incorporating my A7 Stamp "Hoot Hoot" #305 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I have been creating backgrounds on my Gel Press with Alcohol Inks for a workshop and this is a mop up print from one of those background sessions.
To add a touch more interest to the background I added some delicate background stamping using Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink and my A7 Stamp "Heartfelt" #304.
I also made my own tapes using the Gel Press and that is what you can see at the top of the card. I have also added some torn book pages to the base of the owl to ground him.
I have also added dimension to the owl adding two stamped images and also added the Hoot sentiment, also from the same stamp set.

Possibilities For Creativity....

I have a card for you today showcasing my newly released Border Stamp "Knibs and Mushrooms" #276, which I adore from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I am loving the combination of Wilted Violet and Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Inks together. Here I have blended the inks over the Totally Dotty Stencil, adding layers of colour to give depth and dimension to the colours and stencilling.
I have also incorporated some background stamping using my newly released A7 Stamp Set "Heartfelt" #304, I love this stamp for adding touches of text to the background of any design or project.
I added a circular spotlight to my focal image, another trademark of mine, which I love. I added a touch of shading to the spotlight using an Inktense Pencil in grey.
The spotlight also adds a touch of dimension along with the added nib to the top of the spotlight.
One of my favourite sentiments completes the design. This is from my A5 Stamp Set "Thankful Petals" #272.

Fungus Accordion

I have opted for an accordion card this time around, I love creating accordions, they offer so much opportunity for adding lots of layers. My design offers a clean and simple approch to a background on this occasion. I have showcased my newly released Border Stamp "Fungus" #275 along with my newly released Border Stamp "Knibs and Mushrooms" #276 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I love the freshness to this accordion, simple layers that still draw the eye into the design.
For the middle panel I simply applied Acrylic Paints over the Profusion Stencil, adding just a touch of detail to the background. I then stamped the nibs on top of the stencilled layer. I also added a touch of background stamping using my A7 Stamp Set "Heartfelt" #304.
I have also incorporated some wooden banners for added interest and dimension along with some torn bookpages.
On one of my other panels I brayered a simple layer of paint and then stamped the Fungus onto the brayered layer and also incorporated some background stamping.
Each panel also had some delicate splatters of black paint, only light layers so that we do not overpower the freshness of the design.
