Garden Chic

I have been using the Eco Green Garden Chic stamp set (made entirely from recycled rubber) from Creative Expressions for this weeks DT piece.
I decided to decorate a box for my first piece which I covered in vintage paper from an old book.

Once I had covered with vintage paper I added the floral image from the set, stamped with VersaMark ink and sprinkled with clear embossing powder.  I then coloured with Distress Ink wild honey, a favourite colour of mine at the moment, blending the colour as I moved around the box. I then stamped the same image around the box in coffee Archival Ink.
I stamped the fabulous dress form onto white card using coffee Archival Ink and sponged with wild honey ink, adding coffee ink to the edges for definition. I added a wing from Tim's Idea-ology Adornments Regal and completed with three buttons threaded with Bakers Twine.

Thanks for stopping by, Tracy x x

This is lovely - I love the spring like colours (I too love Wild Honey!) and that you used the dress form - I have yet to use it and yet it is my favourite stamp in the set - go figure!

It must be so hard to cover a box with vintage paper and get it looking like this. Beautiful! xx

Totally gorgeous Tracy, just love your box!
You asked me how I rusted things last week and I've done a little tips post on my blog today if you are interested. I use a product called Rusting Powder.
Have a great Wednesday!
