Back To Black

Another Monday, another challenge with Simon Says Stamp and Show and this weeks theme is a SONG TITLE.

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse is my song title choice represented by a black heart box decorated with hearts from Wendy Vecchi's Love To Make Art set. Coupled with a little foliage from the Tattered Pinecone and a flower from the Tattered Florals die and a key embellishment from Tim's Idea-ology Word Keys.

My Tattered Floral has been created from Kraft Glassine which has been lightly painted with Gesso and scrunched to give that aged feel and a brad has been added to the centre. I then added one of Tim's Word Keys along with some black ribbon behind my Tattered Floral.

The hearts have been stamped onto white card in black Archival Ink and had a layer of Rock Candy applied over the top. Two black buttons threaded with Bakers Twine have been added for further dimension.

To lift the colour a little I have added white dots around the edges of my box with a white gel pen.
