Hi everyone, just wanted to pop by and wish you all a very Happy Easter.
I decorated a little egg and stand to celebrate Easter. I added a Prima piece which I created from clay using an IOD Prima Mould and I added a clay face to the centre.
I added a few of Finnabair's Art Stones around my focal piece and also included some of Tim Holtz Bouquet Flowers.
I painted the whole piece with Finnabair's Impasto Paint Azure and then added some dry brushing with Cobalt, wiping away any excess of the darker colour with a baby wipe.
I added an Easter sticker from Tim Holtz along with Finnabair metal embellishments, adding a touch of paint with my finger to the embellishments.
I love how the darker Cobalt colour settles in some of the recesses.
I then applied some Prima Metallique Wax, White Gold to highlight all the wonderful detail further.
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support in my creative journey - THANK YOU x x x

Deep in their roots all flowers keep the light
Hi everyone, I am back today with a card using my stamps from
AALLandCreate. The new releases are all available from our list of
stockists HERE. Alternatively you can find them direct from the AALLandCreate BOUTIQUE, simply scroll down.
This time around I have created an accordion card using my quirky flower stamps. I created the accordion from white card and then cut panels to fit.
I applied Dina Wakley's Cheddar Acrylic Paint to each panel, applying the paint with a piece of Cut'n' Dry Foam. I dried this layer with my heat tool. I then applied a layer of Fuchsia Acrylic Paint to some scrap card and then lightly pressed the card onto the background to just add highlights of the colour. I then brayered Turquoise paint very lightly over the background on each panel. I love this sentiment on my quirky stamp set.
I stamped my quirky flowers onto each panel and then I coloured scrap pieces of card with Acrylic Paint and then stamped my quirky flower heads onto the card and then cut them out and added to each panel.
A few delicate splatters of white Posca Paint Pen lift the design.
I also added some paint circles to each panel along with some doodles around the outside edges of the panels.
I added some background stamping using my doodle background stamp.
I love how all the layers are visible and add so much texture to the background.
I love making accordion cards and these quirky flower stamps work beautifully.
This is my stamp set used this time around.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x x

With Brave Wings She Flies
Hi everyone, I am back today with a card using my stamps from
AALLandCreate. The new releases are all available from our list of
stockists HERE. Alternatively you can find them direct from the AALLandCreate BOUTIQUE, simply scroll down.
I began by applying Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylics onto my Gelli Plate and I then used my quirky flower stamp and stamped the imagery onto the Plate and then placed a piece of white card onto the Plate and took a print.
I also added some tone on tone stamping using the same flower stamp and Distress Oxide Inks.
I stamped my butterflies onto watercolour card using Black Archival Ink and then used watercolours to add some colour to the wings.
I added two butterflies and added cotton threads behind for added texture. I also included some delicate splatters of red paint. Each butterfly also has a vintage pen nib added for their body.
I stamped the sentiment onto white card and also added some black dots around the outside edges of my card for a further little detail.
I love how all my stamps work so well together.
These are the two stamp sets I used in today's card.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a lovely weekend. Tracy x x

Stand Out From The Crowd
Hi everyone, I am back today with a card using my stamps from AALLandCreate. The new releases are all available from our list of stockists HERE. Alternatively you can find them direct from the AALLandCreate BOUTIQUE, simply scroll down.
I am using the wonderful paints from Dina Wakley once again Cheddar, Fuchsia, Turquoise and Ruby.
I painted the background of my card with Cheddar Acrylic Paint, applying with a piece of Cut 'n' Dry Foam and I then tore a heart from scrap paper to create a stencil and then applied Turquoise and Ruby Paint around the outside edges of my handmade stencil. I then added the same paints to a piece of scrap card and then pressed the card lightly onto the background to give a monoprint of paint within each heart.
I coloured some scrap pieces of card with Acrylic Paint and then stamped my quirky flower onto the painted backgrounds and then cut out each one. I also added one image in black and white.
A few delicate splatters of Turquoise and Fuchsia Paints add another layer of interest.
I added my sentiment, one of my favourites, to the bottom of the flowers.
I added a matt of Turquoise painted card to the background.
This is my stamp set I used this time around.

Stand Out From The Crowd
Hi everyone, I am back today with a card using my stamps from AALLandCreate. The new releases are all available HERE.
I am trying to show as many styles as possible with my stamps and today I have a more fresh clean and simple style for you.
I began by stamping my flower/mushroom stamps onto the white card using Black Archival Ink. I then stamped the same image onto a piece of scrap paper, cut out the image and then used this as a mask, placing the mask onto the first stamped image and I then added my border stamp over the top, to add layered elements to my design.
I then die cut a circle from white scrap paper and then blended Distress Inks around the circle. This acts as a spotlight for my imagery. I then added some doodles around the outside of my circle.
I also added some delicate splatters of black paint, adding just a few delicate splatters.
I then die cut a smaller circle from white card, stamped the flowers/mushrooms once again onto the die cut circle and then adhered on top of the focal imagery to act as a second spotlight and to also add some dimension to the design. I added the sentiment 'stand out from the crowd' to the top.
To finish my design I added some doodles around the outside edges of my card.
The stamps I have used for this design are shown below:

Springtime
I have been working in my garden this weekend and as I was doing some clearing of debris I noticed a few lovely pink and white cyclamen which made me think that I rarely create anything in pink so today I thought I would take inspiration from my garden.
I began by applying Gesso to my Etcetera tag which I then dried with a heat too. I then painted Tim's Collage Paper with Worn Lipstick Distress Paint, applying the paint to the back of the Tissue. Once the paint was dry I then added the Collage Paper to my tag using Distress Collage Medium. I also applied Worn Lipstick Distress Crayon around the edges of my tag.
As the background was quite detailed from the Collage Paper I added a bold black Baseboard to create my focal imagery around.
I added a Paperdoll surrounded by Spring flowers and I also added a touch of paint to her dress. A touch of colour was also added to some of my flowers using Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, adding a few cotton threads for added texture.
I added a little gem to her dress and also included one of Tim Holtz new Butterfly adornments, adding a touch of paint to the butterfly to coordinate with my background.
I also included a vintage pocket watch part and a computer generated sentiment 'Springtime' to the top of my focal piece.
Scratchy paint lines have also been added to the edges of my tag to add a further layer of interest along with some delicate splatters of Worn Lipstick Distress Paint.
I would also like to enter this piece into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge where the theme this time around is Easter/Spring Inspiration. I was definitely inspired by my evolving Spring garden this week. My piece also ties in quite well with their mood board this week.

Let Your Dreams Blossom
I have a colourful card for you today using my stamps from AALLandCreate.
I am finding it a real joy to create with my own designs and once again I have combined my stamps with some of the fabulous Dina Wakley Paints.
I painted the background of my card with Fuchsia Acrylic Paint, applying a layer with a paintbrush and I then dried with a heat tool. I then applied Cheddar Acrylic Paint to a piece of scrap card and then lightly pressed this card against my background to add highlights of colour randomly onto the card.
I them lightly brayered some Turquoise Paint over the top along with some added delicate splatters. I also added some background stamping using my background border stamp.
I love layering paints this way, it gives a much more loose, random feel to the layers, I am hooked!
I stamped my hearts onto coloured pieces of scrap card, cut out and then added to the background.
This colour palette really appeals to me.
