Ladybug

Welcome, today I have a project using one of my newly released stamps, this time around showcasing my A4 Stamp #161 Ladybug. I am absolutely delighted with the detail on this stamp and the Ladybird is fast becoming one of my favourites. You can find a list of our Stockists HERE.
I began with a brayered background, adding layers of paint to give depth to the card. On this occasion I only stamped part of the image from the A4 Stamp Set. I adore this ladybug!
To add a little more detail to my ladybug I also added layers of bookpages to the body along with some coiled wire and a circular die cut piece, acting as a spotlight to my design.
I incorporated some vintage wooden numbers to echo the numbers in the background of the stamp and I also included a story stick for added interest and dimension.
Wire mesh has been added to the background for added texture and a few delicate splatters of red paint to lift the whole design.
I love how all the layers can be seen and work so well together in the design.
I hope you like this A4 stamp as much as I do, its fantastic to create with.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Winged Things

Experimenting with my A4 stamp Time Flies #143 from AALLandCreate.
I opted for a fresh clean look this time around allowing the stamp image to create all the impact.
I added a touch of dimension to one of the wings and I love how one wing is predominantly black and white.
The background detail from the stamps adds wonderful interest to my background and I added spotlights of colour for further impact.
A couple of touches of red to give further impact.

Time Flies

I could not sleep so decided to put the time to good use and create a canvas using my A4 stamp Time Flies #143 from AALLandCreate.

All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I began by adding lots of layers of paint to my background until I was happy with the depth, the Dina Wakley paints are lovely and rich and stay wet a little longer which makes blending a lot easier.
I added some bold scratchy lines to add impact to my design.
I stamped the butterfly in the background and added some further dimension with a touch of clay.
Vintage book pages added to the background add further interest along with some cotton threads and delicate splatters of red paint.

It's Your Time To Bloom

Today I am showcasing my A6 flower stamp Doodled Blooms #140 combined with my A4 stamp Time Flies #143 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I think these two stamps combine so well together and the sentiment is perfect, showcasing the flower with the clock imagery.

The background is created with Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints Turquoise and Lime, two of my favourite colours, adding a pop of red to liven everything up a little. I also included a touch of stencilling in the background.
I added a pop of red twine along with a small clay pot again painted with Dina Wakley Paints. You can see the circles from the stencil in the background which adds yet another layer of interest.
A few touches of Texture Paste to add further dimension and interest along with some cotton threads.
I also added some delicate splatters of paint and further added dimension to my flower head.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Make Today Amazing

Today I am showcasing my A6 flower stamp Doodled Blooms #140 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
One of my favourite colour palettes today Turquoise and Lime with touches of Black. I used Dina Wakley Paints and brayered layers of colour over and over until I was happy with the depth of colour to my background.
I then added a monoprint using Autour de Mwa's stencil, applying Black Soot directly to the stencil and spritzing with water and then placing the stencil ink side down onto my background.
Delicate white splatters lift the whole design and touches of cotton thread add further texture. I also added dimension to each of my flowers.
I also applied some Lime paint directly over the stencil to add yet a further layer to my background.
The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.

Doodled Blooms

Today I am showcasing my A6 flower stamp Doodled Blooms #140 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I began by creating a background with Autour de Mwa Stencil Weathered Tiles combined with Dina Wakley's paints Magenta and Tangerine.
I was aiming for a fresh vibrant feel to this piece and these colours work so well together. I then stamped the numbers from my Layered Domino Border Stamp #151, stamping with Archival Inks Monarch Orange and a touch of Black.
I added a touch of dimension to the flower adding two layers, which were stamped onto a brayered background of Dina Wakley Paints. A touch of silver wire adds further interest and texture.

Bloom

Showcasing my newly released Border Stamp Checkered Nature #149 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I am still working with my fresh colour palettes once again, think because its January I am trying to lift my spirits by working with more uplifting colours. I created my background by applying Distress Oxides Evergreen Bough and Twisted Citron over Autour de Mwa's Lotza Dotz stencil, simply blending the colours and adding layers of each colour.
There is something about this colour palette, it really lifts the whole design, I think its the touches of red that draw the eye in. I added a couple of spotlights, adding die cut circles for added interest and dimension to my design.
I also included a small clay pot and some twine for the stem. The red dots were created with the end of my paintbrush and some Ruby Acrylic Paint.
The circle elements help to draw the eye into the focal image.
