Fungus Accordion

I have opted for an accordion card this time around, I love creating accordions, they offer so much opportunity for adding lots of layers. My design offers a clean and simple approch to a background on this occasion. I have showcased my newly released Border Stamp "Fungus" #275 along with my newly released Border Stamp "Knibs and Mushrooms" #276 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I love the freshness to this accordion, simple layers that still draw the eye into the design.
For the middle panel I simply applied Acrylic Paints over the Profusion Stencil, adding just a touch of detail to the background. I then stamped the nibs on top of the stencilled layer. I also added a touch of background stamping using my A7 Stamp Set "Heartfelt" #304.
I have also incorporated some wooden banners for added interest and dimension along with some torn bookpages.
On one of my other panels I brayered a simple layer of paint and then stamped the Fungus onto the brayered layer and also incorporated some background stamping.
Each panel also had some delicate splatters of black paint, only light layers so that we do not overpower the freshness of the design.
Thanks so much for stopping by, Tracy x x

This looks similar to an accordion you did on Hochanda a few weeks back so it's lovely to see some photos with more details of how it was made as it saves me from having to make notes and 'print screens' from the Hochanda show. I love visiting your blog Tracy and learn so much from it as well as your FB lives and YouTube channel. You are such a lovely lady sharing all your creative talent. These uncertain times have given me the opportunity for more crafting and to resurrect my own blog diary. Many thanks for all the inspiration. Stef x

Ooh, lovely - those vivid greeny blues are so cool with the white space and the fungi look fabulous!
