Welcome to todays blog post. I have created a card today using my Quirky Blossoms stamp set from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our stockists HERE, simply scroll down.
I opted for Kraft card today, I love the natural feel it gives to a design and here it showcases my Quirky Blossoms perfectly.
I added a layer to my background using Autour de Mwa's stencil number #30, applying Distress Oxide Ink directly to the stencil, spritzing with water and then placing the stencil ink side down onto my painted backdrop.
The Turquoise paint applied in the background around the edges was applied with my fingers. I also added dots of white paint using a small ball tool, dipping the tool into my paint and adding the dots around the outside edge.
I added a touch of dimension to my flower and also included some cotton threads for added texture. I also doodled some lines around the outside edge of my design.
I added some delicate splatters of white paint and some scratchy paint lines using an old credit card. I also included some touches of white to my flower using a white gel pen. I also included months using my Date It samp set, stamping onto white card with Vermillion Archival Ink.
These are my stamp sets used this time around.

Natures Garden
Wow the end of June, I can't quite believe where this year is going! Today I am showcasing my Natures Garden stamp set combined with my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of stockists HERE, simply scroll down.
I began by brayering a layer of Dina Wakley's Fuchsia Paint across the background of my card and then added a layer of Cheddar, blending the two layers together where they meet. I then used Autour de Mwa's stencil to add further detail to the background.
I also added a touch of random stamping to the background using my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp.
I die cut three circles from white card and then coloured each one with Turquoise paint. I then stamped the Blooms onto each of the circles and then stamped them once again onto a piece of card coloured with the same paints used in the background. I then cut out each bloom and added them to the top of the first stamped image for added dimension.
I added delicate splatters of White, Fuchsia, and Cheddar Paint to the background along with more random background stamping.
I added cotton threads behind each die cut circle for added texture and interest.
I extended the stems on each bloom using a black pen.
I love how the circles draw the eye across the card.
The stamps I used for this card are highlighted below.

Grow, Bloom and Blossom Accordion for AALLandCreate
Hi everyone and welcome. Today I have an accordion card for you using my Quirky Blossoms Stamp Set and my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of our stockists HERE, simply scroll down.
I am loving using green at the moment, the colour is so fresh and gives such a different look to the stamps. I began by brayering a layer of Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint Distress Paints to the background of each panel and then dried each panel with a heat tool.
I added a touch of background stamping using my A4 Stamp, Layered Grunge. I stamped with Leaf Green Archival Ink, I love the tone on tone this gives and the numbers are so versatile on this stamp.
I stamped the Quirky Blossoms on the background of each panel using Black Archival Ink and then stamped the flower head once again to add dimension to my design. I stamped the flower heads onto a piece of card coloured with Distress Paints and stamped randomly with my A4 Stamp, this gives a touch more detail to the open areas of my flower head.
I twisted the flower head slightly so that the stamping below is still visible. I also added some Media Tape by Dina Wakley stamped with my sentiments from the same stamp set. I also added a button to the centre of each bloom for added interest.
I added more random background stamping using my A4 Stamp and Leaf Green Archival Ink, I love the detail in this stamp.
I had some edgeing from a watercolour pad on my desk so I also included these random pieces in my design.
I also added some delicate splatters of white paint to my design and added some wired leaves for added dimension.
I doodled some lines around each panel to draw the eye in towards my focal imagery.
I also included some stencilled panels on the back of my accordion using Autour de Mwa's stencil.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Eileen Hull Book Club 2 Release
Hi and welcome, today I have a post as part of the Eileen Hull DT and this month we are showcasing the fantastic Book Club 2 release.
Today I am showcasing the fabulous Wrap Around Journal Die. You can view the whole Book Club 2 Collection HERE. The Wrap Around Journal Die
is a Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die which means you can cut almost any
material with this die, it's fantastic and so versatile. Those of you in
the UK can pre order this die from Country View Crafts HERE. I also used the Journaling Words across the front of my Journal to add a further layer of interest.
Eileen sent me this fabric/leather esque type piece and to begin with I highlighted all the embossed design with Wax which worked perfectly to showcase the texture.
I also incorporated Eileen's Stitchy Flower & Leaf using both the flowers and leaf. I coloured the flower and leaf with Distress Inks and then added some wax around the edges of each. I also incorporated some of the hearts from the Sizzix Thinlits Die Set - Journaling Cards, Hearts.
I machine stitched the covers and also added some vintage book pages to the inside cover and also added some watercolour pages which I tea stained.
I also added a shaker to the front of my journal for an added dimensional piece, adding some of the die cut hearts to the centre along with some sequins.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Pop by Eileen's Blog to see some further inspiration from my fellow Design Team Members.

Quirky Bird
I thought I would try something a little different today, an altered bird using my A4 Layered Grunge Stamp from AALLandCreate. You can find a list of stockists HERE, simply scroll down.
This was a fun project to create and I loved trying my stamp out on a different substrate. I began by giving the bird a coat of Gesso front and back and then drying with my heat tool. I then applied a layer of Twisted Citron Distress Paint to the front and back of my bird and then dried this layer with a heat tool. I then applied a light layer of Peeled Paint Distress Paint over the top and dried this layer very lightly. I then wiped back some of the darker layer of paint with a baby wipe and then dried with a heat tool.
I used my A4 Stamp as is in my hand rather than applying to an acrylic block and picked out random areas from the stamp and stamped onto the bird with Black Archival Ink.
I added the word DREAM towards the top of my bird and also included some doodled lines around the outside edge of my bird for further interest.
I love the numbers on my A4 stamp set and I included those on the tail of the bird, stamped randomly over the background of the bird. I also included some cog embellishments for further interest.
Some delicate touches of stamping to the edges of my bird.
I also included a vintage thimble for his hat along with some micro beads for added texture.
I added some delicate splatters of white paint and some wired leaves to complete.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Decorated Zip Bag - AALLandCreate
Welcome, today I am showcasing something a little different, a decorated zip bag using my Layered Grunge and Feathered Bloom stamps from AALLandCreate.
I really enjoyed creating this, something a little different from a card. I began by adding touches of Distress Oxide Inks to the background to give a touch of shading. I applied the inks to a non-stick craft sheet, spritzed with water and then mopped up the beads of ink and dried with my heat too. I did add a piece of paper on the inside just in case the ink seeped through to the inside.
I stamped my feathers onto a piece of calico fabric, stamping using a MementoLuxe Inkpad.
I added stamping from my A4 stamp set using a MementoLuxe Inkpad. I also added some numbers from my Date It stamp set using Archival Ink.
I also included some delicate splatters of paint and some buttons and micro beads for added texture and interest.
I also included some vintage lace and a couple of vintage pen nibs.
I applied texture paste over Autour de Mwa's stencil, number #21 to give a further layer of texture to my piece.
I added second generation stamping to my design as I did not want a bold black so that it did not over power my design.
I love how this came together and it is perfect to house my pens and pencils.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
These are the stamps I used in my creation.
