I created a card this morning with leftovers scattered around my desk.
I created the background with Distress Paints, applying to a non-stick craft sheet, spritzing with water and mopping up the paint with my card and then spritzing again to create runs and then drying with a heat tool. I used Evergreen Bough and Twisted Cirtron as they were left out on my desk.
I had a remnant of fabric from a previous project so stamped the leaf onto the fabric using Distress Oxide Ink. I frayed the edges and added some random stitching. The leaf is from Tim Holtz Leaf Prints stamp set.
A touch of stencilling has been added to the background, applying the ink directly to the stencil, spritzing with water and then pressing the inked side down onto the card and then drying with my heat tool.
I added Wendy Vecchi Garden Patina Enamel Accents randomly around my card for a further layer of interest.
I added a circle of black twine and scratchy lines of Twisted Citron Paint to complete.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
