Layered Domino

Welcome, today I have an accordion using my Border Stamp, Layered Domino #151 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
Whilst reorganising my room I came across this MDF piece and thought it was perfect to showcase my Layered Domino stamp. I created a textural backdrop and added lots of layers to my design.
I love the detail in this stamp and to add further to the detail, I also incorporated some vintage book pages along with some small layered tags.
I also incorporated a draw pool and vintage penn nib to add further interest and dimension to my design.
This would be perfect for Father's day too. I added numbers to echo the numbers in my stamped image and a wooden 'D' to represent Domino.
I love how the paint also pics up all the texture in my background too. I applied Distress Crayon around the edges of my piece to give definition.
I kept the twine from my tags to add a touch more texture.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I really appreciate all your comments.

Count Your Blessings

Happy New Year.

Today I have a post showcasing my newly released Border Stamp Layered Domino #151 from AALLandCreate. All the new products are available from our Stockists listed HERE.
I opted to decorate a couple of chunky ATC's this time around, giving them a real vintage feel with those vintage colours. Lots of texture has also been added with Texture Paste, layers of stamping and clay pieces.
I also added some domino pieces to the top of each ATC for added dimension and interst.
I stamped a couple of the domino images into clay, inking with Black Archival Ink so that some of the detail would show up a little better. I also stamped some of the background element onto book pages.
I added some cotton threads and also highlighted the text pieces further by stamping onto white card and not adding any colour so that the white is a contrast against the darker vintage tones.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
