Today I am showcasing a mixed media card using my newly released A5 Stamp "Teasel" #239, from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I opted for a fresh palette today, using my Teasel stamp, I love using greens with this image, it seems to work so well, especially for a natural element.
I also added a touch of texture, applying paste through stencil #50. I coloured my Texture paste with a touch of Peeled Paint Distress Paint so that it coordinated with my other elements.
I added spotlights to my design with some shading and a die cut circle. I stamped with Distress Oxide Ink so therefore I could use a waterbrush and blend some of the colour into the leaves.
I also incorporated some of my trademark doodling along with some cotton thread for added texture.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Today I am showcasing a mixed media card using my newly released A5 Stamp "Teasel" #239, from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I opted for fresh greens this time around for my teasel image. I also feel the green gives this piece a really natural organic feel.
I am always looking for different ways to add textural elements to my designs and this time around I opted to stamp onto layers of kitchen towel which I had stitched together.
I included some metal elements to add further interest to the design. I also love the random stitching on this piece which gives a further textural element.
I stamped with Archival Ink onto the tissue to ensure the ink did not bleed.
A few delicate splatters of black work so well for me against the freshness of the green. I also added some black stamping onto the metal piece using my number background from my Brush Flower Stamp set #234.
A few pieces of vintage book pages finish my piece.
Thanks so much for popping by and leaving a comment. Tracy x x

Teasel
Today I am showcasing a mixed media card using my newly released A5 Stamp "Teasel" #239, from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I love this teasel stamp, which was inspired from a walk around my garden. I applied Distress Oxide Inks and Infusions to my Gel Press and then took a print. I then added further colour by smooshing Wilted Violet Distress Ink across the background to add another pop of colour.
I added a spotlight to the teasel, stamping the head of the flower a second time onto a white die cut circle, stamping with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink.
I added a few pieces of vintage book pages, which I love adding to my pieces just to give my artwork another personal touch.
Another favourite for me is stamping onto calico pieces, it again adds a further texture to my designs.
A few delicate splatters of Peeled Paint Distress Paint add further interest.

Teasel Journal
Today I am showcasing a mixed media journal using my newly released A5 Stamp "Teasel" #239, from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I am so thrilled with the way this one turned out. If you want to watch the demo you can find this one on Hochanda on rewind. My shows were on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th October for AALLandCreate.
My teasel stamp is added to tissue, simple tissues that you blow your nose with lol and the result is better than I could have expected, I love it!
I also added some numbers from the number background stamp on my Brush Flower Border Stamp #234, this stamp is going to be used over and over.
I added a vintage watch face along with some stamped calico, which is fastly becoming a favourite thing of mine, stamping onto calico to give a different texture.
My substrate is Eileen Hull's Journal Die. I also added some random machine stitching to my background for a further texture.
This is the back of my journal, showcasing the Lotza Dotz Stencil.
I also incorporated a rusty nail and some coloured pebble type embellishments.
Thanks for all your support with my new release, I appreciate all your comments and feedback. Tracy x x
