I covered mountboard with pieces of book pages from an old Alice in Wonderland book and then die cut the basket from the mountboard.
I coloured the background with Lemon Peel Impasto Paint, applying the paint with a palette knife and I then added random areas of Gesso, again applying with a palette knife to give me added texture.
I stamped Kassa's Bloom from Stampotiqe Originals onto the basket using Black Archival Ink and then painted with Raspberry Pink and Crimson Impasto Paints along with touches of Lemon Peel to add highlights. I then stamped back over the image to add the black detailed lines back into the design.
I also stamped part of the imagery inside the basket for added detail and added some dots of white using a paint pen.
To complete I added a Tim Holtz Sticker and added some delicate splatters of white paint.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Tracy, your basket is so beautiful in those colours and with Kassa's beautiful stamp. I love how you added the book page elements and created so much texture too! Hugs, Anne xx

I can see you're enjoying those Impasto paints. Love the contrast of the pinks against the sunshine yellows. This is utterly uplifting!
