A Vintage Journey - Tag Friday

Hi all and welcome to a Tag Friday post for A Vintage Journey. Hope you are all enjoying the festive period.
Rather than just create one tag I decided on a tag accordion for something a little different using the Tim Holtz Evolutions stamp set.
Each tag has been coloured with Evergreen Bough and Twisted Citron Distress Inks, applying the inks to a non-stick craft sheet, spritzing with water and then mopping up the ink with each of the tags. Each tag has been distressed around the edges and then Twisted Citron Distress Ink applied.
Each of the focal images have been stamped with Black Archival Ink.
I die cut two small tags from white card using Tim Holtz Tiny Tabs and Tags Die and then stamped each of the small tags with some of the text from the Evolution stamps. I also added Label Letters (numbers) to the tage for added interest.
I applied Black Soot Distress Ink to Tim Holtz Chevron Layering Stencil and then placed the stencil ink side down and dabbed with a piece of kitchen towel and then removed. This adds a further layer of interest and gives depth to the design.
More chevrons have been added to the central tag and delicate splatters of white paint.
I also added a jump ring to the eye of the focal image.
I also applied Texture Paste over the Chevron Layering Stencil to add further texture to the design.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful New Year. Tracy x x

Such a fabulous triptych - I've had these stamps pretty much since they came out, but have yet to have a play with them, shamefully! Love the colours and layers you've given them here.

Wishing you and yours a peaceful 2017.
