Live Everyday!

Today I have my first post as part of the Design Team for Canvas Corp Brands. We have all been challenged to decorate a 4" square canvas which I loved doing. You can shop for all their products HERE. You can also find the Canvas Corp Blog HERE, full of informative projects, videos and designs.
I began with a piece of the Black on Kraft Alpha paper which I cut to size to fit the canvas.
I then placed the Splatters Layering Stencil over the background paper and applied Vintage Photo Distress Ink over the stencil.
To add a touch more interest to the background and to age further I added delicate splatters of Woven Burlap Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist .
I added a white frame to the canvas which I sprayed with Butternut Squash,Tattered Leather and Woven Burlap Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. I added one of Tim Holtz Found Relatives behind the frame and also included Remnant Rubs and a jump ring to his eye to act as a monocle.
I added a few metal elemants to my design, painting some of the elements with red to add a pop of colour to the vintage tones. I also added delicate splatters of red paint for further interest.
Machine stitching adds a further layer of interest and I kept the strands of thread for added texture to my design.
Tissue tape has been added randomly to the background along with "live everyday" ChitChat Stickers.
I love adding different layers to my designs and this was fun to create.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
