Vintage Anemone

This weeks DT piece for Katzelkraft I have created a vintage card using the COLLAGE ANEMONE plate.
The background has been coloured with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and flicked with water to added blotches for further interest. I have also creased and bent the card to add to the aged feel and then applied more Distress Ink around those areas to highlight. The edges have also been distressed with a pair of scissors.
The focal image has been stamped with Black Archival Ink and then I have used a brush and water to bleach out some of the areas on the flowers.
I die cut a circle from white card and then stamped part of the image onto the circle and then added to the card to add a spotlight to add dimension and further interest. I also included a banner and Botanical Remnant Rub.

The Katzelkraft Challenge for July is FLOWERS, there is still time to enter HERE and there is a fabulous prize on offer too.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

I love the card. Just shows you don't need lots of colour to make a statement. The spotlight is a perfect addition xx

So, so beautiful - I adore the vintage neutrals and the botanical sketch feel - just lovely (and not unlike what I've just been playing with... great minds!).
