PEACE, STILLNESS & CALM

Another sample which will be showcased on Sheena Douglass show on Friday 11am and 7pm
All these stamps will be showcased on Sheena's show on Friday. I wanted a weathered worn look to this card which the Distress Ink brushed corduroy and walnut stain offer beautifully.
I used the vintage cabinet die, adding many layers to give depth. I wanted it to appear as if you were looking through an arch/window. I love the fractured doll I added, colouring with a touch of Alcohol Ink.
The crackle background from Sheena is fabulous for my focal image it adds to the worn, weathered appearance.
I added wooden letters to the top of my die cut to add further interest and dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

This is gorgeous how you framed the arches with arches and added the three layers. Every time I see you do this I think remember this and then I promptly forget to try it! The fragment doll belongs in your hallway of arches.
