ART HOUSES

I've created a tag accordion this week for my Creative Expressions DT piece with Sam Poole's Art Houses and the Uber Fine Design embossing folder.
I began my accordion embossing each corner with the Uber Fine Design embossing folder and then adding some brick wall using Wendy Vecchi's brick wall stencil and walnut stain Distress Ink.
I stamped the houses onto kraft card with black Archival Ink and added touches of gold Paint Dabber to the edges of each house and to the embossed areas on my card. I stamped HOME using Sam Poole's vintage alphabet stamp set.
I added some assorted key charms to each house to add further definision and iterest along with a wooden bird to each roof.
Random text has been added in the background for a further layer of interest and I have also added a few water splats and wooden numbers to each tag.
Dimension has been added to the heart adding two layers of stamping.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Wow... probably my favourite Art Houses piece yet... gorgeous sepia monochrome palette, fab dimension and embellishing, and the accordion structure and brick wall detailing is the perfect setting for the houses. Right up there with my favourites of all your work too...

Awesome.. I had to scroll through and look at all the dimension and texture you added with the stamping, embossing and layers of houses with their keys. A village to visit for sure. :)
