BIRD Song

I have had a few hours to myself today so decided to take the oppotunity to create a little something for Simon Says Stamp and Show a TAG and Grungy Monday using Tim's technique HERE. I decided to create a tag card.
The first side of my tag folded card has the Caged Bird, cut using Tim's Alterations die, but of course I could not cage the bird so I set him free, breaking a couple of the cage bars. The cage has also been embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder to give the appearance of wood.  I cut a flower using the Tattered Florals die from kraft glassine which I absolutely love especialy when you scrunch it up before cutting your flowers, it looks great. I have added a metal wing charm to the centre of my flower and one to the bottom of my cage along with a bird cage charm. My tag has been coloured with DI vintage photo and I have used Tim's technique throughout the tag.
From this angle you can see the folded tag in more detail and the added dimension throughout.
The inside of my tag highlights Tim's technique a little more and I love the sentiment which is a new purchase. I have added a large wing cut using a Sizzix die from music paper to represent BIRD SONG. The small acrylic bird charm is one of Darcies and I have added fly to its wing along with a crown embellishment. I have added BIRD to memo pins along with some music ribbon to the bottom corner.  The mini bird and cage complete this side along with a copper key and small wing charms.
FLY has been added to one of my wings using Tim's Alpha Parts.
The back of my tag card has a second large wing and the aperture I had left over from cutting the mini bird and cage.  This time I have added the word SONG to memo pins and a large wing embellishment to my wing.
I have really enjoyed making this piece and love how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.  Enjoy your week.  Tracy x x
