Stand Out From The Crown

Hi and welcome, today I have another one of my make and take pieces from Ally Pally.
This time around I used my border stamps which you can find HERE.

I used both of my stamps on this piece.
I began by adding a layer of Dina Wakley's Cheddar Paint across my card, applying with a piece of Cut 'n' Dry Foam, and completely covering the card. Whilst the paint was still wet I then used Kassa's stencil and used a babywipe to remove some of the colour, giving me a resist type look to the background. I then lightly brayered Fuchsia and Turquoise paint for a further two layers.
In this picture you can see all the layers of paint and the stencil used in the background along with the numbers from Fiona's stamp set stamped with Fuchsia paint.
I stamped my circles with Black Archival Ink and then added some white highlights to lift the design.
I also added some delicate splatters of white paint.
I scribbled some stems to my circles to create flowers and added some white highlights down the stems. I also added the sentiment Stand Out From The Crowd which you can find HERE.

I love mixing my stamp sets to add different elements to my designs.
I then stamped a couple more of the circles onto painted card and added some of the circles for added dimension.
I love how all the layers are visible and add so much interest to the background.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
