Sizzix Party Ideas with Eileen Hull Dies

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today Eileen Hull's Design Team are showcasing Eileen's dies for Sizzix party ideas.
I opted for a centre piece for a summer party table or this could quite easily house cutlery for the table too.
1 Die cut the canister from black mountboard using Eileen Hull's Sizzix Canister Die. We will not need the lid for this project.
2 Adhere the two body pieces together to create the Canister.
3 I used a Gelli print from a previous project for each side of the Canister. I simply added two colours of Fresco Finish Paint to my Gelli Plate and then placed the card onto the plate and removed.
4 Emboss each of the panels with Eileen Hull's Lace Medalliions Embossing Folder.
1. The embossing gives fabulous detail and texture to the design.
2 Swipe Picked Raspberry and Black Soot Distress Inks lightly over the raised areas.
3 Die cut Eileen's Flower, Romance from coffee filter papers.
3 Add Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to a non-stick craft sheet, spritz with water and then dip the edges of the die cut coffee filter papers into the beads of ink. The ink bleeds into the paper.
1 Cut a length of rusty tin wire and use Eileen Hull's Twist and Style Tool to twist the wire together. Place a pearl at the top of the wire so that this appears in the centre of the flower.
2 Add all the die cut flowers to the wire.
3 Scrunch each layer of the flower towards the centre.
4 Secure the flower in place by adhering a button at the back of the flower.
I added a Banner to one side of my Canister using Eileen Hull's Banners and Pennants Die set along with Chitchat Stickers for added interest.
I added delicate splatters of white paint to each of the panels.
I love the dimension and texture the embossing gives to each side of the Canister.
To complete I added moss and spirals of rusty wire.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
