THE BLEAK MIDWINTER

I have been using the newly released MidWinter plate for my creation this week for Artistic Outpost.
I masked off the bottom half of my card with torn scrap paper and blended broken china and faded jeans ink to the top half of my card, spritzing with water to give that snowy feel. I then stamped the scenic image with black archival ink, adding a wooden snowflake to the top right, coloured with a little snow cap paint dabber.
I added a little foliage stamped around the outside edge for further interest and stamped the fabulous sentiment with black archival ink. I think this sentiment is one I will use many times for this years seasonal makes, I love it.
I stamped the fabulous reindeer with black archival ink, adding a liitle broken china ink to the bottom to ground him so that he does not appear to be floating on the page. I also added a second snowflake for further dimension and interest.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Another absolutely gorgeous card and you've captured that icy feel of winter so perfectly...it's beautiful!
Hope you're ok and once again, sorry for the lack of comments lately...sometimes, life seems to get in the way and there aren't enough hours in the day!!
Take care, Tracy...
