Time for my second creation using the fabulous A5 Birds stamp plate by Sam Poole for Creative Expressions.
I created my background using Distress Inks wild honey and spiced marmalade, using scrap paper for a mask.
I created the sun first, cutting a circle from scrap paper using my Spellbinders die and sponging colour through the aperture, adding the darker spiced marmalade to the outside edge. I used the tiny leaf in this set to create my vines and drew a line between each leaf with a Pitt pen. I love the sentiment which I stamped with coffee Archival Ink, cut up and sponged with ink.
The trees, which could also be branches for the birds to sit on are also stamped with Archival Ink along with the birds.
Thanks for popping by and leaving a comment, much appreciated. Tracy x x
