Anything Goes At Simon Says Stamp and Show

Yes time for another fabulous ANYTHING GOES week at Simon Says Stamp and Show.
A tag and coordinated gift bag were the order of the day for this week using An Eye For Art Stamp set, Border Patrol stamp coordinated with an inky background from Distress Stains. A small gift bag was created from Tissue Wrap Terminology.
I cut my tag from manila card using the Tag and Bookplate die. I applied Distress Stains picket fence, broken china and faded jeans to my non stick craft sheet and then swiped my tag through the ink, continuing this process until I was happy with the coverage of ink.
I stamped the face image twice once to the top and once to the bottom of my tag adding a little white highlighting with a white gel pen which makes the images pop from the background.  A little faux stitching was also added using the white pen again for a little more interest.
I cut a bookplate from white card using only the centre piece and stamped the eyes using black Archival Ink, applying a little silver Paint Dabber to the outside edge giving added dimension to my tag.  I stamped the sentiment onto white card and sponged with broken china and faded jeans Distress Ink adding white dots to the outside edge with my gel pen.
I cut two medium circles from white card using my Spellbinders Circles set, stamped the eyes with Archival Ink, added white highlights and added to the centre of my tag. I then cut two small circles from white card, coloured with Distress Inks, stamped an eye onto each and added silver Paint Dabber to the outside edge and added to my larger circles, giving great dimension and interest to my tag.
I added one dimensional eye to my top image along with wings from the Idea-ology Regal Adornments. I cut a medium circle from white card, cut in half, coloured with Distress Inks and stamped with the Border Patrol stamp. I then added to the top of my tag with ribbon which I coloured with Distress Stains.
I created a coordinated gift bag to go alongside my tag (the template of which I found HERE) created from Tissue Wrap, adding a natural jute for handles. I cut a bookplate from white card, sponged with broken china and faded jeans ink and added to my gift bag. I added the eyes to the central piece along with a small circle as before.

For more great ideas please pop over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show blog and take a look at my fellow team members they have created some inspirational projects. Remember there is also the chance to win a $50 prize from Simon Says Stamp.  I always look forward to seeing your creations each week.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment, much appreciated.  Enjoy your week. Tracy x x

Tracy, your tag and gift bag are so cool! I love that Wendy stamp and what you did with it to create that beautiful tag is awesome! Love the popped out sections and the little bits of metal that you've added. It's just beautiful! That little gift bag is quite cute, too! I've already printed out the pattern and the instructions! <3 Candy
