I am quite enjoying creating tags at the moment and this time around I am using the fabulous Generic Bird Diagram from 100 Proof Press
I stamped my Generic Bird with black Archival Ink and then used Tim's bubble Texture Fade and blended Distress Inks peeled paint and broken china, I love these two colours together. A little faded jeans has been added to the edges.
I stamped the bird a couple more times onto white card and coloured with broken china ink and added on top of the original image, repeating this process for the wings, colouring with peeled paint ink. Again a little faded jeans has been added to the edges of the bird's body.
I used the distressed doily On The Edge die, adding to the sides of my tag for a little more interest, again colouring with Disress Inks. A tattered banner has been cut from white card, coloured with peeled paint ink, FLY stamped with an alphabet stamp set and stapled into place. FLY has been added using Alpha Parts.
I cut two tickets from white card using the ticket die, stamped the Generic Bird onto each, coloured with Distress Inks and stapled into place. A little tied string has also been added along with coordinated ribbon and buttons.
I would also like to enter this piece into The Stampman Challenge which this time around is to show us your SHABBY CHIC OR DISTRESSED Style.
Thanks so much for stopping by, Tracy x x
