A card and matching tag for this weeks Creative Expressions creation using The Voice of Art stamp set.
I stamped my image twice onto white card with coffee Archival Ink and then stamped the image again onto scrap paper to use as a mask.  I then masked the images and stamped the background with VersaMark ink and added white embossing powder. I then sponged with vintage photo and walnut stain Distress Inks to give that vintage feel.
I cut the Distressed Doily from Glassine and added to the bottom of my card along with the sentiment across the bottom. The sentiment was coloured with Distress Ink and a little gold paint dabber added to the edges.
I cut a mini Tattered Floral from glassine, adding gold paint dabber to the edges and a decorative brad to the centre.  For a little dimension I added brass crowns. I also tore the edges on my decorative piece to add to the aged feel.
My matching tag uses all the same images but the background this time has been stamped with black Archival Ink.
The edges have been distressed with a distressing tool and vintage photo blended along the edges. Copper brads have been added to one edge for further interest.
On this occasion the Tattered Floral has been cut from white card and aged with Distress Ink.

Thanks for stopping by, Tracy x x
