Vintage Tags

I don't make tags often enough so decided to have a little fun with the VINTAGE set from The Stamp Attic.
I decided to create two co-ordinated tags both cut using the Tag and Bookplate die from cream card stock.
Both tags have been covered in Nostalgic Tissue Tape and sponged with brushed corduroy Distress Ink. Random stitching has been added to the outside edge for a little more interest. I have taken my frames (telephone Wendy in the shop) painted with Gesso and coloured with a litte brushed corduroy ink and stamped my image with black Archival Ink.
On my second frame I have used the ruler from the VINTAGE set and stamped around the edge of my frame and added the image to the inside again with black Archival Ink. To give some further dimension I have cut two rosettes from card using the Mini Paper Rosettes die, colouring the edges with vintage photo Distress Ink to add to the aged feel. On the larger rosette I have added YESTERDAY from the VINTAGE set to the top, stamped onto cream card and sponged with brushed corduroy ink.  On the smaller rosette I have added some Idea-ology Foliage.
My second tag has all the same techniques applied but using the circular and oval frames which I feel work perfectly with the vintage images.

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your weekend. Tracy x x
