Poppy Seedhead

Morning everyone, welcome, thank you so much for stopping by. Today I have a card showcasing my border stamp set "Poppy Seedheads" #447.

I adore this stamp set and was so pleased with the way this card developed.

Above is a demonstration during a Facebook Live, so if you did not catch it the first time around, you can see it above on replay.

The pictures above show you close up's so you can really see the detail.

There Is Beauty All Around Us

Morning everyone, hope you are well.

Today I have a post showcasing my recently released Autumn range.

A lovely fresh colour palette using Distress Oxide Inks. The inky background still has plenty of open space to give the card a fresh funky feel.

I incorporated the leaf from my Great Outdoors Stamp Set. I think the leaf works perfectly combined with one of my bird images.

The sentiment is from my Pinecone set and sums up how I feel perfectly.

I also included some metal embellishments and I partcularly love the optical lense.

There is Beauty All Around Us

Morning everyone, today I am showcasing a card I created on a recent Facebook Live. This piece showcases my Birdsong Stamp Set combined with my Pinecone Stamp Set.

I love the green in this piece which is Peeled Paint Distress Ink and Oxide.

If you missed the Facebook Live the first time around you can catch it on rewind below:

In the video I take you through all the steps to complete the card. I hope you enjoy the process.

This photo showcases the detail perfectly. I adore that inky backdrop.

I also added detail to the inside of my card, a paired down version of the front of my card.

Quirky Bird Shadow Box

Morning Everyone, hope you all have a good Friday and weekend planned.

Today I have a shadow box I created on a recent Facebook Live for Stamper's Grove. I joined Olga Heldwein in a joint live, creating together, it was such fun.

I really enjoyed creating this piece. I spent quite a bit of time thinking about the whole concept and I am rather pleased with the outcome. Hope you like it too.

I love the technique I used in the background, The Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Spray worked so well, adding to the overall grungy/vintage feel of my piece.

I also incorporated some embellishments using my stamps and a Hot Glue Gun and I love the outcome. Some quirky additions.

I also incorporated some stencilling in the backdrop to add a further layer of interest.

I also added some lollipop sticks to give further dimension and interest along with some rusty organic bird houses/cages.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed looking at the closer details of this project.

Pinecone Book Cover

Morning everyone, hope you are all well.

Today I am sharing a book cover, decorated using my Pinecone stamp set.

I love all the details on the cover and all the layers which combine to give a really tactile piece.

The smaller pinecone and sentiment fit beautifully on the spine of the cover.

I also added some background stamping and used my Grungy Alphabet to add more layered elements.

Mixed Media Bird

Morning everyone, hope you are all well. Today I have a mixed media piece using my latest Autumn release.

I am so pleased with this piece, I adore all the layered elements and the green and brown, with touches of blue colour palette.

I incorporated my Birdsong stamp set along with my Pinecone stamp set and I love how they work together so beautifully.

I added some mica flakes to give added texture along with some clear embossing to my bird.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I appreciate all your support and comments.

Have a lovely weekend. Tracy x x

Vintage Bird Christmas Card

Morning everyone, hope you are all well.

Today I have a card showcasing some of my new Autumn Release.

I opted to keep the more subtle tones for this card, using Bundled Sage and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Inks.

I added one of my bird's to the bauble area to give further interest to my design.

I love the little pinecones I found whilst on a walk.
