Jot This Down........

I've been using the fabulous SECRETARY POOL plate from Artistic Outpost.
I machine stitched lines into a piece of white card to represent writing paper, leaving the ends of the thread to add a little interest. I stamped the paper clip image to the top of this stitched piece with coffee Archival Ink, adding a coordinated paper clip to the central image for dimension. I stamped the text "jot this down" in black Archival Ink. I tore some areas to add to the aged feel.
I stamped the alphabet background with broken china ink onto white card and distressed the edges adding a little vintage photo ink to add a little definition. The vintage typewriter has been stamped with coffee Archival Ink and a little broken china ink added to blend with my background.  I found the metal arrow in my sash which I coloured with alcohol ink and then added to the bottom of my card.
I stamped the pencil images and added to the bottom of my card and then added 3 mini pencils I found, tied with a little cord which I thought were perfect for this stamp set. NOTES added to the top of my card is cut from the alphabet background.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate your comments. Tracy x x

  16. Tracy this card is fantastic!! I've been sitting here staring at it for some time soaking up all the glorious details! I love the color scheme of dark brown coffee inks against the broken china distress. Hand stitching the lines? Genius! The Artistic Outpost images are fab...another stamp set to pine for :)
