Creative Chemistry Day 4

Day 4 of Creative Chemistry from Tim uses the Watercolouring with Re-inkers Technique, Layered Misting Technique and Custom Stamp Pad Technique.
Once again I have added a little more to my tags, for added interest.
Tag 1 uses the Watercolouring with Re-inkers Technique, something I have never done before, in fact this is the first time I have used my Re-inkers but it will not be the last they are fabulous and give such an intense colour and are wonderful for watercolouring. The background of my tag has been stamped with the vine from Wendy's It's Face Art and embossed with clear embossing powder. The colour in the background is from dried marigold Re-inker. I have added wings to the face image from the Heart Wings die and again stamped with the vine with black Archival Ink and again coloured with Re-inker. The sentiment from the same stamp set seemed perfect for this piece.  My second face has been stamped with black Archival Ink and coloured with vintage photo Distress Ink. The edges of my tag have also had vintage photo added.
Tag 2 uses the Layered Misting Technique again using Re-inkers, I have used broken china, dried marigold and peeled paint along with a Crafter's Workshop mini numbers template. Once again I added the face image from It's Face Art, colouring all three with coordinated Distress Inks. For a little more interest I pleated some ribbon and machine stitched into place and added the sentiment BELIEVE to the top of my tag.
Tag 3 uses the Custom Stamp Pad Technique which I thought was great fun and the image is so clean and crisp and the colours are fantastic. The background stamp is from Tim's Papillon set stamped in maroon Archival Ink and coloured with brushed corduroy Distress Ink. I added a little dimension to my third butterfly stamping the image twice, cutting out and adding on top of the first image.
For further interest I added one of the butterflies to the bottom corner and added a coordinated ribbon to the top of my tag.

All the products I have used are available from THE STAMP ATTIC, and I have added links to each product.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy your weekend. Tracy x x

  2. I love the way you have added your take on the lessons. The tags are fabulous, are you going to store them in a sketch book or something? Or do you add them to the front of a card or send them as postcards? They are brilliant Tracy xx
