SHARP OWL

I am showcasing the SHARP OWL once again this week from 100 Proof Press.
To be honest I had so many products out on my desk when I started this project I did not know where to begin so in the end I challenged myself to only use items that were on my desk. I have been working on so many projects lately there was plenty surrounding me to work with.
I had some calico on my desk from a previous project so I decided to stamp the SHARP OWL onto the calico with black archival ink adding a little random text to his body for a little more interest. My sewing machine was also on my desk so I decided to add some machine stitching around the edges.
I also added more random text around the calico and wrapped some twine around one side of my card attached using my tiny attacher again all these pieces were lying around on my desk. Are you now getting the picture that my craft room was an absolute tip! I also added the kraft circles randomly to the bottom of my card along with OWL grunge letters coloured with brushed corduroy Distress Ink, rubbing over with a little Treasure Gold using my finger.
I added two dimensional flowers cut from an off cut of felt and added an owl charm to my twine, attached with a jump ring.

My desk is now a little tidier, only a little but this is one challenge I will definitely be trying again, it seems to focus the mind using only products surrounding you rather than pulling out more and more product which is what I usually do.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Tracy x x
