I created something just for fun today and I really enjoyed the process.
Sometimes its wonderful to just create because you want to create and no other reason and this piece is the result of a couple of hours of just going with the flow.
I am a great love of clay faces and I knew I wanted to incorporate one in this piece and this is using one of my favourite moulds.
I found some tacks in my stash and I really enjoyed hammering them into my canvas and they add such a fun element to my design. I love using items that are a litte quirky.
With the tacks in place I had to wrap some cotton around for added texture along with some soft silver wire behind my face, adding cheesecloth for further interest.
I added Mint Green Paste over an AALL&Create stencil and added a wash of Distress Paints once the paste was completely dry to age a little.
Before applying any of my elements I added a coat of Vintage Photo Distress Paint to my canvas, giving the perfect aged backdrop for my design.
I really enjoyed being a little different today!

Make Every Second Count
Welcome, today I have a mixed media piece using my newly released Border Stamp,
Postal Rose #205 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I found this tray in my collection and thought my delicate rose would look perfect set against a black backdrop combined with some ice cream summer colours.
I added three layers to my rose, spritzed each layer with water and then scrunched and allowed to dry before adhering all the layers together. I also incorporated some random hand stitching for added texture.
I also used my mop up piece of kitchen towel in the background as the colours were perfect and it seemed a shame to waste and it adds wonderful texture to the backdrop.
I also incorporated some tag reinforcers for added decoration along with some delicate splatters of paint and a circle piece of thread.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I truly appreciate all your comments. Tracy x x

Stay Curious
Welcome, today I have a card using my newly released A6 Stamps,
Curiosities #209 combined with my A6 Stamp Background Mash Up #210 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I opted to use an Artist Trading Coin for my focal image this time around, decorating with Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints. I applied the first layer of paints with a Brayer and then applied some touches of paint with my fingers.
I stamped my Background Mashup stamp with Acrylic Paints to coordinate with my focal image and I am so delighted with the detail.
I stamped the sentiment 'Attitude is Everything' on the bottom of my coin and added touches of acrylic paint around the edges of my coin.
I incorporated further texture by adding some wire and some cotton threads behind my coin.
Vintage book pages also add further interest.
A vintage pen nib adds further interest to my design.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

You Hold The Power To Make The Change
Welcome, today I have a card using my newly released A6 Stamps, Curiosities #209 combined with my A6 Stamp Background Mash Up #210 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I opted for more vintage tones this time around, creating a background with Distress Oxides.
I created to spotlights, blending Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink around a circular die cut and I then added some random stamping using my #210 Background Mash Up stamp, I love using touches of this stamp in the background.
I stamped the hand from my Curiosities Stamp set into each of the circle spotlights and I then stamped the hand image onto vintage book pages and cut out each image.
I also added some of Seth Apter's Vintage Beeswax to my focal images, adding a further layer of texture to my design.
To complete, I added some hand stitching and some touches of torn watercolour pages.

Flourishing Vase
Welcome, today I have a card using my newly released A6 Stamp, Flourishing Vase #213 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I am absolutely thrilled with this stamp and the flowers can be used as half flowers or you can make a whole flower with the same stamp. I began by brayering a background with Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints and then placing the Weathered Tiles #59 stencil over the top and using a baby wipe to remove some of the paint from the open areas on the stencil.
I stamped my vase into clay and added touches of paint with my finger to the clay piece. I also added a cross stitch over the vase to add further texture to my design.
I incorporated some vintage book pages along with some coils of soft siver wire.
This picture shows the dimension achieved from the clay pot and the layered element from the stencil.
Its such a thrill creating designs with my new stamps and I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment, thank you. Tracy x

Wishing You Happy Everything
Welcome, today I have a mixed media piece using my newly released A5 Stamp, Eclectic Stems #199 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
This stamp coordinates beautifully with my Doodled Blooms Stamp Set #140. The A5 stamps allow you to use these stamps together or individually so you can create larger projects and have a better scale of design and I have also incorporated new sentiments along with two new images too on the same set.
I opted to decorate one of That's Crafty MDF Chunkies this time around and my A5 flower sits perfectly on this substrate, I am so thrilled with this piece.
I began by adding layers of vintage book pages to the back, front and sides of my substrate and once dry I then began adding layers of paint.
I applied many layers of Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints and once dry I then stamped my A5 flower onto the background. I then added layers of Turquoise Acrylic Paint around the flowers. I also rubbed away some areas of the paint as you can see from this picture. I love how the vintage music paper is visible below all the layers of paint.
The flowers pop against my backdrop and to make the design pop further I also added some delicate splatters of white paint and added touches of further paint with my finger, randomly around the background.
I applied Distress Crayon around the edges of my substrate to give definition.
I then added my sentiment to the bottom of my piece. I love this sentiment.
I hope you are enjoying seeing the new release, as much as I am enjoying creating with them.
This picture shows you the comparison in size of my A6 stamp and my newly released A5 stamp.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support during my creative journey.
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment, I appreciate each and every one. Tracy x
