Poppy Card

Afternoon everyone, hope you are all well. Today I thought I would pop by and share a youtube video with you and some close up photos of my Poppy card.

Nice simple card, but maybe if you are not one of those watching the football tonight lol, you can catch up on the video in some quiet time.

Below are some close up photos so you can see the detail further.

I have added the youtube vide below. Sometimes I think close up pictures show the detail a little better. I hope you enjoy the process.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Washi Tape Christmas Tree

Hello everyone, today I have a Christmas card for you, something for those last minute makes.

I love how this card turned out, just using Washi Tape and a touch of stamping from my Ephemera Digists Stamp Set.

Some touches of mica flakes really add to the festive feel along with the touches of red.

Have a lovely week and see you Friday back on the blog.

Beauty All Around Us

Morning everyone, today I have a card showcasing my newly released A5 Stamp Set Wire Birds #394.

I began by creating a background using Speckled Egg, Peeled Paint and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Inks. I simply swiped the inkpads lightly across the background.

I added touches of black stamping around the edges of my card to draw the eye into the focal image.

The black Washi Tape also helps to draw the eye into the focal image.

I added dimension to the bird and added some shading around the outside edge to make the image pop.

The added twigs and lollipop stick add further dimension to my design along with a quirky element. I also included some background stamping for further interest.

Thank so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

There Is Beauty All Around Us

Morning everyone, hope you are well.

Today I have a post showcasing my recently released Autumn range.

A lovely fresh colour palette using Distress Oxide Inks. The inky background still has plenty of open space to give the card a fresh funky feel.

I incorporated the leaf from my Great Outdoors Stamp Set. I think the leaf works perfectly combined with one of my bird images.

The sentiment is from my Pinecone set and sums up how I feel perfectly.

I also included some metal embellishments and I partcularly love the optical lense.

Quirky Bird Shadow Box

Morning Everyone, hope you all have a good Friday and weekend planned.

Today I have a shadow box I created on a recent Facebook Live for Stamper's Grove. I joined Olga Heldwein in a joint live, creating together, it was such fun.

I really enjoyed creating this piece. I spent quite a bit of time thinking about the whole concept and I am rather pleased with the outcome. Hope you like it too.

I love the technique I used in the background, The Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Spray worked so well, adding to the overall grungy/vintage feel of my piece.

I also incorporated some embellishments using my stamps and a Hot Glue Gun and I love the outcome. Some quirky additions.

I also incorporated some stencilling in the backdrop to add a further layer of interest.

I also added some lollipop sticks to give further dimension and interest along with some rusty organic bird houses/cages.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed looking at the closer details of this project.
